LOS ANGELES, March 06, 2012 | SHOOT Publicity Wire | --- Noiselab Music's Pinky Turzo and Paul Rhim served as musical directors for "Smoke and Mirrors," the second in the first ever series of flash mob style theatrical events. The series of twenty performances are being produced by Flash Theater LA this year to commemorate the twentieth anniversary of Playwrights' Arena.
The ten minute production, written by Alison de la Cruz and directed by Fran de Leon, took place February 19th on the sidewalk in front of Park's Finest BBQ in historic Filipino Town.
A crowd of hundreds gathered to watch over fifty Los Angles artists perform. The musical story of a tragic love triangle was set in a 1940's taxi dance hall and featured music from the era, ranging from big band swing to tango. Pinky Turzo also performed vocals for two numbers.
