Nike's "Shine"

Lance Acord of Park Pictures directed this spot in which NBA superstar Lebron James relentless trains at night while the rest of the city closes up and calls it an evening. The juxtaposition of images unfolds to Frank Sinatra's rendition of "Sleep Warm." Sound designer was Gus Koven of stimmung.

Jeff Low of OPC, Toronto, directed this commercial in which Federal Express (FedEx) boxes serve as dominoes in a long precision chain reaction of Rube Goldberg-esque effects--all in order to send a hockey stick to its ultimate desired destination. Indeed the FedEx box proves to be a remarkable piece of well-oiled delivery machinery--just like the company itself. Advertising agency is BBDO Toronto.
The Best Work You May Never See: Detroit Institute of the Arts' "Faces"

Anthony Garth of Avalon Films directed this spot in which people in the street share their vision of what Jesus looked like. They're all dramatically different visions, whetting our appetitie for how Rembrandt depicted the Lord. We can find out at the Detroit Institute of the Arts.

Johnny Kelly of Nexus directed this cinema spot which tells the tale of a farmer who has good intentions but is soon overrun by the process of a mechanized industrialized farm. He then has an epiphany which leads him to building a farm on natural, sustainable methods.
Twinings' "Gets You Back To You"

Psyop directed this piece in which a woman rides out a rocky ride at sea to arrive at more soothing, tranquil times with Twinings tea. The spot is part of an initiative to get women to take some time for themselves and to get back to who they are. Agency is AMV BBDO, London.
