Sprint Music by German Artist Haito Goepfrich

BERLIN, February 17, 2010 | SHOOT Publicity Wire | --- Haito Goepfrich, published by MetaTechnik NY/LA music and sound, and part of MetaTechnik's artist division, has lent his tasteful minimal tune "Perception" to all spots for the new Sprint 3G/4G "The Now Network" campaign via Goodby, Silverstein & Partners, San Francisco. The track appears on the Cologne, Germany based label Boxer Recordings, a long-time MetaTechnik collaborator and partner. Boxer is also one of the many labels that have released tracks by MetaTechnik's own Georg Bissen.

MetaTechnik's Artist Division is comprised of many talented underground writers and producers, mostly from the UK and Europe. The division, which is electronic oriented, covers genres of electro, downtempo, ambient, breaks and eclectic. Many of the artists on the Division have records charting all over the world, including MetaTechnik's own Georg Bissen, who most recently remixed the Black Eyed Peas hit "I Gotta Feeling", his remix receiving massive airplay on BBC Radio 1, and which launched international superstar DJ Paul Van Dyk's New Year's Eve set at the Roseland Ballroom.

As all sorts of dance music genres, including minimal techno, electro and house, are slowly resurfacing and finding a place in the ears of more mainstream listeners, and dance music producers are collaborating with superstars such as Akon and Sean Kingston, MetaTechnik is finding more and more creatives listening to what is and has been happening at the audio facility, which is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year. Simply put, the music of the last remaining true underground indie world, is beginning to find its place alongside the ever over saturated shoe gazer indie rock world, and is lending a new edge to the trite sounds of Hip Hop. The Artist Division represents a truly tasteful handful of the most successful European underground electronic labels here in the US for TV and synch. MetaTechnik has access to these artists as they are not only collegues of Bissen's in the dance music world, but also co-producers and co-remixers on numerous tracks he is involved with. In that sense, MetaTechnik is a versatile double player and truly at the forefront of both production and distribution of this currently evolving music trend.

The artist behind the Sprint spots for example, Haito, is a Berlin DJ and producer. He has a knack for understanding the minimal sound, which was born in Berlin, and has updated the feel for the music with his creative and sensual understanding of music. He's one of the artists at the lead of what is happening in dance music, and brings this sound to the masses through his residencies at the legendary Tresor and Maria am Ostbahnhof clubs. Haito has a highly acclaimed album that came out last May, which featured the exclusive single, "Let There Be Light".

Georg Bissen, founder and president of MetaTechnik is also a German native. He also grew up attending the Love Parade in Berlin, as well as many of the underground exploratory techno clubs. Bissen has over 20 EP and singles releases in Europe, over half a million cumulative YouTube plays, has sold over 30,000 units with his various tracks, and has appeared on close to 100 compilations that have sold in the millions.
