Global content studio Pulse Films has secured Samuel Guthrey--established by industry vets Gay Guthrey and Rowley Samuel--to represent its roster of directors in commercial and branded entertainment across the Midwestern United States. Pulse Films lineup of international, award-winning filmmakers includes Michael Haussmann, thirtytwo, D.A.R.Y.L. and Sam Pilling. With major credits under its belt, most recently Sam Pilling’s epic Lloyd’s TSB spot (“Running with the Horses”), the studio is poised to continue its rapid expansion into the U.S commercials market. Pulse Films is also active in music videos, winning Production Company of the Year at the 2017 Music Video Awards off the back of videos for global artists like Radiohead, Young Martha, DJ Shadow and Elton John to name a few. The studio’s feature film credits include Andrea Arnold’s Cannes Jury Prize winner and BAFTA nominated American Honey, Sundance Award winners The Witch and All These Sleepless Nights, Beyonce’s Emmy nominated Lemonade, and 2017’s London Film Festival hit Kingdom of Us and Trophy. Recent TV projects include Black Is The New Black (BBC Two) Billion Dollar Deals (BBC Two) and Rock And Roll, a 10-part series for Sky....

Jesse Foster has been promoted to the new position of VP of marketing and strategic accounts at Cobalt Digital, which designs and manufactures award-winning 12G/3G/HD/SD and IP-based conversion, terminal, throwdown, and multiviewer technology for the broadcast television environment. Foster most recently served as Cobalt’s director of product and business development. In his new role, he will be responsible for all aspects of the Cobalt Digital product line, including product marketing and promotion, public relations, corporate messaging, customer knowledge, sales and distribution training, and development of strategic sales opportunities....
