    NEW YORK --

AICP has announced the composition of its 2018 National Board of Directors as well as the roster for its newly formed Post Production Council, which was spawned by the organization’s merger with AICE.

On the former score, Ralph Laucella of O Positive, East Region director, was re-elected to a second term as chairman of the national board. Other officers elected included Rich Carter of brother as vice chairman and director at large, and Mark Androw, a past national board chairman, will once again serve as treasurer; he is also the Midwest Region Director. Robert Fernandez of Moxie Pictures remains immediate past chairman.

Newly elected directors at large include Lisa Mehling of Chelsea and David Thorne of Furlined. Frank Scherma of RadicalMedia and Danny Rosenbloom of Interstate were re-elected as directors at large, while Scott Taylor of Taylor & Taylor was re-elected to serve as associate director At large.

Among the new directors are three former members of the AICE International Board: Craig Duncan of Cutters, the former president of the AICE International Board, along with Gloria Pitagorsky of Heard City and Yvette Cobarrubias-Sears of Cosmo Street.

Rounding out the national board are Adam Isidore, Taylor James, director at large; Andrew Colón, Smuggler, West region director; Bob George, Drive Thru, Minnesota Region director, who assumed the term held by Jim Geib of Twist Film; John Gilliland, Lucky 21, Southwest Region director; Tabitha Mason-Elliott, bark bark, Southeast Region director; Michael Savitz, Shoot Collective, Florida Region director; and Carl Zucker, The TEAM Companies, associate director at large.

    The Post Production Council
The Post Production Council was formed as part of the merger of AICE and AICP to advise the AICP National Board on matters and issues relevant to the postproduction industry.

The Post Production Council is chaired by Molly Baroco of Hero Post. Rounding out the Council are Dee Allen of The Mill, Ace Allgood of Channel Z Edit, LaRue Anderson of Apache, Mary Caddy of The Colonie, Mary Connolly of Cutters, Yvette Cobarrubias-Sears of Cosmo Street, Tom Duff of Optimus, Craig Duncan of Cutters, Chris Franklin of Big Sky, Bob George of Drive Thru, Chris Gipson of Republic Editorial, Craig Lewandowski of Utopic, Gloria Pitagorsky of Heard City, Kristin Redmond of Hudson Edit, Ron Rendon of Beast, and Dee Tagert of Sage Ideas. In her new role, Rachelle Madden, AICP’s VP, Post Production & Digital Production Affairs, has direct oversight of these issues and will manage the affairs of the Post Council.

“We’re delighted with the newly constituted AICP National Board, and welcome our new members as well as returning directors,” noted Matt Miller, AICP president and CEO. This is a smart, informed and proactive group that will ensure AICP keeps moving forward.”

What to Stream: “Wicked: For Good” Soundtrack, “Train Dreams,” “A Man on the Inside” and Black Cowboys

    Monday, November 17, 2025

Ted Danson's "A Man on the Inside" returning to Netflix for its second season and Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo belting out the "Wicked: For Good" soundtrack are some of the new television, films, music and games headed to a device near you. Also among the streaming offerings worth your time this week, as selected by The Associated Press' entertainment journalists: Aerosmith teaming up with Yungblud on a new EP, "The Bad Guys 2" hitting Peacock and Jordan Peele looking at Black cowboys in a new documentary series. New movies to stream from Nov. 17-23 — "Train Dreams," (Friday, Nov. 21 on Netflix), Clint Bentley's adaptation of Denis Johnson's acclaimed novella, stars Joel Edgerton as Robert Grainier, a railroad worker and logger in the early 20th century Pacific Northwest. The film, scripted by Bentley and Greg Kwedar (the duo behind last year's "Sing Sing" ), conjures a frontier past to tell a story about an anonymous laborer and the currents of change around him. — The DreamWorks Animation sequel "The Bad Guys 2" (Friday, Nov. 21 on Peacock) returns the reformed criminal gang of animals for a new heist caper. In the film, with a returning voice cast including Sam Rockwell, Awkwafina, Craig Robinson, Anthony Ramos and Marc Maron, the Bad Guys encounter a new robbery team: the Bad Girls. In his review, AP's Mark Kennedy lamented an over-amped sequel with a plot that reaches into space: "It's hard to watch a franchise drift so expensively and pointlessly in Earth's orbit." — In "The Roses," Jay Roach ("Meet the Parents'), from a script by Tony McNamara ("Poor Things"), remakes Danny DeVito's 1989 black comedy, "The War of the Roses." In this version, Olivia Colman and Benedict Cumberbatch star as a loving couple who turn bitter... Read More
