    LOS ANGELES --

    American Cinema Editors (ACE) has unveiled the nominations for the 75th Annual ACE Eddie Awards, recognizing outstanding editing in 14 categories of film, television and documentaries. The winners will be announced during the ACE Eddie Awards on Saturday, January 18, 2025 at UCLA’s Royce Hall.

    Nominated for the best edited dramatic theatrical feature film are: Nick Emerson for Conclave; Eliot Knapman and Margaret Sixel, ACE for Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga; Jake Roberts, ACE for Civil War; Joe Walker, ACE for Dune: Part Two; and Juliette Welfling for Emilia Pérez.

    Nominees for the best edited theatrical film in the comedy category are: Sean Baker for Anora; Marco Costa for Challengers; Coralie Fargeat, Jerome Eltabet and Valentin Feron for The Substance; Myron Kerstein, ACE for Wicked; and robert Nassau for A Real Pain.

    As previously announced, acclaimed filmmaker Jon M. Chu will receive the ACE Golden Eddie Filmmaker of the Year Award, recognizing a filmmaker who exemplifies distinguished achievement in the art and business of film. Also previously announced, film editors Maysie Hoy, ACE and Paul Hirsch, ACE will receive Career Achievement Awards for their outstanding contributions to film editing.

    Autumn Bailey Entertainment and Braveheart Entertainment Form A Production Partnership With Assembly Studios

    Independent film companies Autumn Bailey Entertainment (ABE) and Ty Walker’s Braveheart Entertainment are entering into a major production partnership with one of Atlanta’s most advanced and expansive film campuses, Assembly Studios, managed by Universal Production Services.

    The collaboration marks a significant milestone in Georgia’s rapidly evolving film landscape--uniting two leading creative producers known for acclaimed projects such as On a Wing and a Prayer and The First Noelle: The Maynard Jackson Documentary with
    Assembly’s cutting-edge infrastructure to scale independent film and television production across the state.

    Together, the companies aim to build a sustainable model for high-quality, character- driven storytelling that blends artistry, efficiency, and innovation.
