Director Fredrik Bond, who’s been a key part of Stink France’s roster, now expands his international reach with the company, signing with Stink for representation in the U.K. Germany, Mexico, Brazil, Italy, China, Japan, the Czech Republic, Spain and more. He continues to be repped in the U.S. market by Park Pictures, as announced last month. Prior to his connecting with Park Pictures and Stink, Bond had been handled globally by MJZ.
Known for balancing cinematic scale with pitch-perfect tone, Bond has shaped the commercial landscape over the last two decades for assorted brands including Heineken, Apple, Guinness, Adidas, Citroen, Lacoste, and Levi’s. Bond has earned recognition from Cannes Lions, Clios, and British Arrows, alongside a remarkable nine DGA Award nominations for Best Commercial Director. Among his latest exploits is a Stink France-produced campaign for Lacoste featuring tennis great Novak Djokovic.
Bond’s signing reflects Stink’s continued and intentional growth in the U.K. market. Off the back of a strong run of work with agencies including Wonderhood, adam&eve\TBWA and Mother, alongside standout campaigns such as ITV’s recent brand film, Stink continues to strengthen its offering through conscious talent development and investment into craft and storytelling.
Stink president and founder Daniel Bergmann said, “Fredrik and I met early in our careers, his first films blew me away. I was instantly carried away by his intense talent, energy, and originality, and I knew I wanted to connect with him. Then we started at what Stink was at the time. Fredrik’s characters, his casting, the way he builds a story… Nobody does it like him. There’s something instantly compelling about his work. We’ve also had a friendship over many years, so it feels very special and natural to come back together and continue growing with Stink. We’re very happy.”
Bond shared, “I did my first commercials with Daniel years ago and I’ve always been a huge fan of Ivan Z and Daniel’s work. When me and Daniel reconnected a few years ago in the French market I got reminded of what a singular and passionate nutcase he is in the best possible way. He inhabits such a vast knowledge and love for our industry. He’s like a customs dog, bloody talented at sniffing up great people and projects that he believes in. Like Daniel, Stink is filled with great passionate nutcases who have the energy and excitement of a newly formed company.”
