BAFTA has unveiled this year’s longlists for the 2026 BAFTA Film Awards. Leading the way with 16 mentions is One Battle After Another, followed by Hamnet and Sinners with 14 apiece. Marty Supreme garnered 13 mentions, with Bugonia and Frankenstein tallying a dozen each.
These films were joined by Nuremberg, Sentimental Value, The Ballad of Wallis Island and I, Swear in the running for Best Picture.
Round two of voting kicks off today (1/9) and will determine the nominations; to be unveiled via global livestream on Tuesday, January 27. Round Three of voting will determine the winners.
The BAFTA Film Awards ceremony will be held at the Southbank Centre’s Royal Festival Hall in London.
