Director Yann Demange has signed with Park Pictures for representation in the U.S. and U.K. spanning commercials and branded content. Based in London, the French-Algerian filmmaker brings a body of work that spans critically acclaimed television, feature films and global campaigns.
Based in London, the French-Algerian filmmaker is known for his visceral storytelling and dynamic visual style. Equally adept at navigating grounded realism and genre-based narratives, Demange’s films are united by his authored cinematic aesthetic.
Demange directed the first four episodes of the BAFTA-nominated crime drama Top Boy, and the pilot of HBO’s Lovecraft Country, cementing his reputation for high-impact, character-driven narratives. He directed feature films White Boy Rick, starring Matthew McConaughey, and ‘71, which is set during The Troubles and earned Demange a British Independent Film Award for Best Director.
Applying the same cinematic sensibility, visual flair, and emotional intensity to his commercial work, Demange has directed award-winning campaigns for brands like Nike, FIFA, Instagram, EA Sports, Johnnie Walker, and Meta.
Jackie Kelman Bisbee, executive producer and founding partner of Park Pictures, said, “Yann is a masterful storyteller, whether working in film and television or helming commercial projects. I’ve been a fan of his for a while, and I’m beyond excited to have him on our roster at Park Pictures.”
Demange continues to maintain Wayward Films which has been home to his work on such projects as Top Boy and ‘71. Prior to joining Park Pictures, he was repped in the U.S. and U.K. by RESET for commercials and branded content.
