NEW YORK & LOS ANGELES --

Psyop has launched Psyop Independent Media Group, a creative network connecting a vast community of award-winning, multi-disciplinary innovation studios as part of a strategic partnership infrastructure. The group streamlines the modern client experience, with one consistent point of contact offering a portal into a global creative studio system of diverse, authentic talent. Underpinned by cornerstone production studio Psyop, the group’s combined expertise delivers efficient solutions for end-to-end creative productions of any kind.

“The industry is changing rapidly and the need for new creative production models has never been greater as we bring together 20 studios across a range of disciplines to form a first-of-its-kind global network of independent craft experts able to collaborate across mixed media arts. In a world of holding companies and private equity, we want to support and celebrate the passion of independent talent, connecting the world’s best artists with the latest technology to form a next-generation studio collective,” said Psyop Media Group CEO Matt Hunnicutt.

The Psyop Group is an independent artist movement empowered by the very best of human craft and collaboration utilizing the latest tools and workflows. “For our clients, the ability to plug into an interconnected studio system with an upstream architecture represents incredible value and access to a depth of expertise across a breadth of services from artful live action, mixed media, brand design and animation to artist-authored AI pipelines and autonomous character agents–one call, a world of talent,” added Hunnicutt.

That world of talent includes studios and artisans such as Baillat, CRCR, Extraweg, Hyperculture, Igor + Valentine, Illogic, Le Cube, Meat Dept., Patagraph, Psyop itself (including live action directors Terry Hall, Joe Sill, and Noah Harris to name a few), Remus + Kiki, Shotopop, someform, Studio Showoff, Sun Creature, Take Your Medicine, Temple Caché and Vallée Duhamel.

Led by former agency, brand and studio execs, the group’s leadership brings a range of experience from Wieden+Kennedy, Nike, Meta, Google, Squarespace, Tribeca and web3 brand Doodles, providing a strong foundation and keen understanding of how to solve multiple creative needs for modern brands. Psyop Media Group CEO Hunnicutt, for example, brings a pedigree that encompasses experience with Wieden+Kennedy, Nike and Meta. Psyop Group chief strategy officer Sandra Nam’s background spans Google, Squarespace and Tribeca. And Psyop Group EVP of studio Dotti Sinnott’s experience includes web3 brand Doodles.

“In an inherently collaborative industry, we’re coming together to magnify the skills of our world-class creative network. Psyop Group is rooted in a culture of passion, craft and innovation,” commented Sinnott. “The operational structure frees our teams to be hyper-focused on their artistry while offering our clients a streamlined experience with unique results. We’ve built a community with collaboration at its core, and we’re so excited to keep growing with new partnerships on the horizon.”

The evolution signals a broader shift in how creative work is built and delivered, celebrating the expertise of every artist in a way that connects the right capabilities at the right moment. “When strategy, innovation and creative production are connected earlier in the process and not operating in silos, you immediately expand what’s possible for our client partners,” added Nam. “We’re able to think more comprehensively about the work from the outset, and how to support more work in a collective and flexible way.”

The group is expanding with offices, studios and partnerships in New York, Los Angeles, Mexico City, Montreal, Berlin, London, Paris, Madrid, São Paulo, Buenos Aires and Melbourne. The momentum balances the best of handmade craft empowered by the latest in innovative workflows, designed to meet the increasing complexity and ambition of modern creative work.

SixTwentySix Signs Director Luke Orlando For Commercial Representation

    Thursday, June 11, 2026

SixTwentySix has signed director Luke Orlando, marking his first time on a production company roster for commercial representation

Over the past several years, Orlando has developed a body of work spanning collaborations with artists including Charli XCX, Selena Gomez, Rebecca Black, Lauv, and Sudan Archives, as well as projects for brands including Apple Music, Savage X Fenty, Dunkin’, Spotify, and Apple TV. Most recently for SixTwentySix, he directed a new music video-inspired campaign for Walmart, which debuted this week.

Born in Toronto and now based in Los Angeles, Orlando took a path to directing which has been anything but traditional. Before stepping behind the camera as a director, he worked as a photojournalist, cinematographer, treatment designer, and creative collaborator, developing a multidisciplinary foundation that continues to shape his work today.

His creative journey began with an obsession for storytelling, photography, music, and cinema. While studying Cultural Studies at McGill University, Orlando worked as a photographer and immersed himself in visual culture before discovering the music video industry through the work of directors such as Hiro Murai. That discovery ultimately led him to Los Angeles, where he studied music video production, worked alongside some of the industry’s most respected filmmakers, and steadily built a career defined by curiosity, experimentation, and creative ambition.

As a cinematographer, Orlando became known for technically demanding productions, including specialty projects shot on iPhone, POV filmmaking, and LED volume work. During the pandemic, he directed a series of livestream concert productions that culminated in a collaboration with Charli XCX, helping launch what would... Read More
