    Mike Lobikis
    --

Mike Lobikis has been appointed head of sales/executive producer at Partizan.  He comes from bicoastal talent agency Hustle, where he represented Partizan while serving as partner and talent rep for the West Coast market. Now moving in-house in an executive capacity, Lobikis will be dedicated to further growing the Partizan brand. As head of sales and EP, Lobikis will continue to curate and develop diverse talent that fits with the Partizan mission statement, while evolving the offerings in the advertising, content, music video, film and TV spaces to service Partizan’s clients. Partizan proved to be a shining example of adaptability in 2020, producing work for major brands such as Adobe, Chase, Amazon, Verizon, and Apple, along with videos for musical artists like Tom Petty, Dua Lipa, The Strokes and Katy Perry. Lobikis is no stranger to representing and developing award-winning creative talent. Prior to Hustle, Lobikis served as executive producer at Mass Appeal, and before that he was head of development at Tool of North America….

Sean Owolo has joined bicoastal production company ArtClass as head of broadcast development. Owolo is a seasoned marketing executive with more than 20 years of experience in the music, television, and film industries. At ArtClass, Owolo will work closely with executive producer/partner Geno Imbriale and EP/head of sales Jack Strachan to collaborate and help TV network and streaming clients with their many marketing needs, from launch campaigns to branded partnership projects. Owolo will continue to build on the momentum ArtClass has established in the entertainment space with such clients as ESPN, Netflix, Amazon, and Philo, among others. Owolo was most recently an executive producer at creative studio Roger, where he oversaw projects for Disney+, Viacom, and Britbox. Before that, he was a partner and executive producer at Big Machine, an Emmy-winning VFX production company working with such clients as National Geographic, AMC, Sony Studios, and Netflix. Owolo previously held senior-level positions at Warner Bros. Music, Priority Records, and Universal Music. As sr. director of marketing at Unsung Entertainment, he worked with clients such as Brandy, Usher, and Jaime Foxx, and facilitated branded partnerships with HP for select Unsung Entertainment artists. He was also a marketing specialist for NYC branding and design firm Alternative Design, working on branding campaigns for such clients as Walt Disney, Vibe, and Bad Boy Records….

BMG Production Music (BMGPM) has hired Deb Oh as sr. director of creative licensing. The move is part of the expansion of its East Coast sales operation and in particular the strengthening of its advertising and synch division to serve its global clients. Oh is tasked with leading the charge in advertising with production music for the East Coast, as well as launching the Custom Advertising department. Based in New York, she reports to BMGPM U.S. sales team lead, Amberly Crouse-Knox. In the last few years, BMG has grown its production music division with a number of key senior hires and innovative deals, including: acquiring Deep East Music and Dynamic Music, partnering with ITV Studios, Bonne Pioche Music, Wibbitz and Red Bull, and the launch of an in-house creative agency. A classically-trained musician with commercial experience on agency and studio side, Oh joins BMGPM from creative audio agency Squeak E. Clean Studios where she was executive producer of the New York office, working on campaigns for Ford, Spotify, Microsoft, Nintendo, and Mastercard, among many others. Prior to that she held producer roles at music and sound boutique Nylon Studios and Young & Rubicam. She is also the founder of the personalized music concierge service, DEBOP….

Kim Gehrig Wins The DGA Award For Outstanding Achievement In Commercials

    Saturday, February 7, 2026

Kim Gehrig of Somesuch has won the Directors Guild of America (DGA) Award recognizing Outstanding Directorial Achievement in Commercials for 2025. The honor was announced and celebrated during the gala 78th DGA Awards ceremony on Saturday evening (2/7) at the Beverly Hilton.

This marked the third time in the last four years that Gehrig has won the coveted honor. She's been a nominee each of those four years.

This time around, Gehrig won on the basis of two entries: Nike’s “You Can’t Win. So Win.” for Wieden+Kennedy, Portland, Ore.; and the Apple film “I’m Not Remarkable” via in-house agency Apple Marcom.

The latter piece celebrates how “disabled” students around the world use Apple products and accessibility features to get the full college experience--studying, socializing and achieving on their own terms.

Driven by the song “I’m Not Remarkable” by Kittyy & The Class, Deaf and “disabled” college students perform in a stirring musical number spanning college campuses, in dormitories at house parties and more. Through their collective voices, the students express a strong singular sentiment--that “remarkable” is a word that should be reserved for everyone.

Gehrig has an award-winning pedigree with Apple. She directed its accessibility short “The Greatest” in 2022 which went on to garner the primetime commercial Emmy Award, and helped her win the DGA Award for Outstanding Directorial Achievement in Commercials for 2022.

As for Nike’s “You Can’t Win. So Win,” that spot made its broadcast debut on the 2025 Super Bowl. The work tackles the misconceptions that have perennially shackled women sports. Women athletes can’t stand out--or so they’re told. They can’t have an... Read More
