RESET, the production company founded by managing director Dave Morrison and director David Fincher, has signed director Reynald Gresset for representation in the North American market.
Gresset had previously been handled by Caviar in the U.S. The director is known for his cinematic narrative and capturing of emotional human experience in work spanning such clients as Samsung, Coca-Cola, T-Mobile and Quaker Oats. For the latter’s Granola Bars, he directed “The Lake,” in which a girl goes for her first swim across a lake, a journey which also takes us through her imagination which yields such experiences as being underwater with a whale and surfacing in the midst of a battle between two pirate ships. The fantastical, inspiring spot was done for Energy BBDO, Chicago.
Gresset lives in Los Angeles but at press time was in the U.K. shooting a Heineken job. The project is being produced by Partizan, which continues to represent Gresset in the U.K. for commercials and branded content.
