Publicis Groupe has acquired Profitero, a prominent SaaS global ecommerce intelligence platform helping brands accelerate commerce sales and profitability. Purchase price was not disclosed. Profitero’s solutions provide actionable insights and product visibility to more than 4,000 brands and 70 million products on more than 700 retailer websites, in over 50 countries every day. As the lines between offline and online shopping blur due to digitally-influenced sales, Profitero’s ecommerce and omnichannel analytics offering allows brands to anticipate, activate, and automate the next best action to fuel profitable growth for each item of their product catalog. By joining forces with Publicis Groupe, Profitero will access the necessary resources and capabilities to expand on its analytics core. As a result, the global commerce platform will truly empower brands by using predictive intelligence to deliver the best product experience, optimize content, increase results of organic search, compare prices with competitors, monitor product availability and track customer ratings and reviews, among other features. Untold Studios, which maintains offices in London and Los Angeles, has added director and multidisciplinary creative Danielle Oexmann to its roster. Based out of the newly formed L.A. studio, Oexmann uses documentary, narrative and experimental filmmaking techniques to share perspectives on the female experience, women’s issues, social justice and youth culture. She’s directed documentaries for brands such as Red Bull Music, Google, Square Cash, Vice, Flaunt Magazine, Garage Magazine, Resy, Loom, The Art of Shaving, and Ceylon. Oexmann directed and hosted two seasons of an animated podcast for Chromebook called “The Adulthood” in which she interviewed climate justice activists, musicians, and athletes about topics such as mental health, identity, and climate change. Her work has been shown around the world at festivals including Sundance, Cannes, SXSW, Telluride, and LAFF. She has produced projects in collaboration with The Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles Dance Project, Mark Bradford, and The Creator’s Project….
Apple, WWF, CeraVe, Sydney Opera House Among Those Having A Grand Time At CICLOPE
An awards ceremony last night (10/10) capped three days of CICLOPE in Berlin, marked by talks by notable speakers, collaborative Craft Sessions, and attendees making global connections.
Drawing nearly 1,700 entries, culled down to 370 finalists across 18 different countries, the competition saw judges award seven Grand Prix winners, 45 Gold, 51 Silver and 61 Bronze trophies.
