The Sweetshop's sister company assembles ensemble of artists to fuse artificial intelligence with human creativity

LOS ANGELES & AUCKLAND, NZ --

The Gardening.club., the sister company to production house The Sweetshop, has assembled a lineup of eight new artificial intelligence (AI) artists. The ensemble of talent looks to redefine storytelling by fusing cutting-edge AI with human creativity. The Gardening.club.’s guiding rule is that AI is never just a substitute; it must enhance and expand creative vision.

The fresh cohort of AI artists will bring an extra dimension to the work already championed by futurist Tomas Roope, co-founder of The Gardening.club, along with AI artist and co-founder Jacqui Kenny whose collaborative projects with brands like Gucci, Google, OpenAI and Louis Vuitton have impacted both the art and commercial worlds.

Melanie Bridge, co-founder and CEO of The Sweetshop and co-Founder of The Gardening.club,, said, “We’ve made it our mission to unearth the world’s top AI artists—it was a mandate for us that each would be a brilliant storyteller with a unique voice. It was also crucial that their body of work demonstrated not only artistic vision but would seamlessly translate into the commercial world. It’s not common to see this level of mastery in AI artistry, and we believe our roster of eight represents the very best out there today.

Bridge continued, “We have also been working hard with copyright lawyers worldwide to develop a comprehensive system of protocols, that ensure we can confidently use AI in our commercial projects–we are very proud of this and believe it to be an industry first.”

Joining The Gardening.club are a group of talented artists who have already made waves as storytellers in the AI art world–Kenny, Floam World, Nathan Boey, Ethereal Moon, Junie Lau, Aashay Singh, YZA Voku, and KEZIAI. These artists’ backgrounds are hugely varied; many have worked extensively in the creative industry as live action film directors, agency creative directors, designers, animators and post specialists, and have now expanded into this new creative space to redefine what’s possible with AI and creativity.

Roope said, “This new roster embodies the spirit of exploration and creativity that defines The Gardening.club. By embracing AI, these artists are expanding the language of film and opening doors to narratives we haven’t yet imagined. It’s an exciting time for all of us.”

The roster of AI Artists work will span across media, from commercials to cutting-edge digital campaigns and long-form entertainment.

Emotional Speeches By Jafar Panahi and Ryan Coogler Stir The NBR Awards Ceremony

    Wednesday, January 14, 2026

An emotional plea by Iranian filmmaker Jafar Panahi and moving words from Ryan Coogler on the violence in Minneapolis stirred a National Board of Review Awards ceremony Tuesday in which Paul Thomas Anderson's "One Battle After Another" was again crowned the best film of the year. Coming two days after Sunday's Golden Globes, the annual, untelevised New York gala, held in the cavernous midtown banquet all Cipriani 42nd Street and hosted by Willie Geist, played out as a more intimate and frank-spoken alternative. The winners themselves were already announced, so the night was always going to belong to "One Battle After Another." The National Board of review, a group that is made up of film enthusiasts and dates to 1909, not only named it 2025's best film but awarded the best actor prize to Leonardo DiCaprio, best director to Anderson, best supporting actor to Benicio Del Toro and breakthrough performer to Chase Infiniti. Yet in an ongoing parade of awards for "One Battle After Another," its night at the NBRs still stood out. The surprise presenter of the movie's best film award was Martin Scorsese, who praised "the audacity" of Anderson's narratives and the accomplishment of his latest. "Like all great films, it can't really be compared to anything else," Scorsese said. "It stands alone. It's a great American film." Anderson, trying to take in the wealth of honors, attempted to describe what " One Battle After Another," his father-daughter tale of revolution, might represent. His answer came in pointing out his own daughter, sitting at his table. "I don't know what our movie is about, but I do know it's about loving your kids," Anderson said. For many of the honorees, the world outside the starry banquet weighed heavily. Coogler's speech was among... Read More
