Followed by "The Penguin" with 8, and "Severance" with 6; "Andor," "Arcane" and "Love, Death + Robots" earn 4 Emmys apiece

    LOS ANGELES --

On Saturday (9/6) the Television Academy presented the first of its two 2025 Creative Arts Emmy® Awards ceremonies this weekend, honoring outstanding artistic and technical achievement in television at the Peacock Theater at L.A. LIVE in downtown Los Angeles. Topping the first night’s tally–spanning artists and craftspeople in genres including animation, drama, comedy and anthology series–was The Studio (Apple TV+) with nine Emmy Awards followed by The Penguin (HBO Max) with eight, and Severance (Apple TV+) with six. Earning four Emmys apiece were Andor (Disney+), Arcane (Netflix) and Love, Death + Robots (Netflix).

Next up were The Boys (Prime Video) and Bridgerton (Netflix) each scoring three Emmys. Adolescence (Netflix) and The Pitt (HBO Max) wound up with two Creative Arts Emmys apiece.

Among the notable winners was Jessica Lee Gagné whose work on the “Hello, Ms. Cobel” episode of Severance topped the cinematography for a one-hour series category. She became the first woman ever to garner this cinematography honor. Gagné is no stranger to making Emmy history as she recently became the first female to be nominated for both cinematography and directing in the same year. She’s up for a directing Emmy on the strength of her work on the “Chikhai Bardo” episode of Severance. The winner of that drama series directorial category will be announced during the primetime Emmy ceremony next weekend (Sunday, 9/14).

The nine wins for The Studio spanned guest actor in a comedy series (Bryan Cranston), cinematography (Adam Newport-Berra), contemporary costumes, production design, casting, picture editing, sound editing, sound mixing, and music supervision.

The eight wins for The Penguin were for contemporary makeup (non-prosthetic), prosthetic makeup, contemporary costumes, contemporary hairstyling, special visual effects in a single episode, sound editing, sound mixing and music composition (original dramatic score).

Besides cinematography, Severance earned Emmy distinction for production design, guest actress (Merritt Wever), title design, sound mixing and original dramatic score.

Andor won its four Emmys on night one of the Creative Arts ceremony for fantasy/sci-fi costumes, production design, picture editing, and special visual effects in a season.

Arcane also came away with four wins: outstanding animated program, individual achievement in animation (for background design), individual achievement in animation (colorscript and color keys artist), and sound editing for an animated program.

Love, Death + Robots too earned four Emmys–all in individual achievement in animation (for 2D animation supervisor, character designer, art director and storyboard artist).

Here’s a full rundown of the winners during the first night of the Creative Arts Emmy Awards:

Elevado Names Bryan Farhy Managing Director To Scale Its Hybrid AI Production Studio

    Monday, August 10, 2026

Hybrid AI production studio Elevado has appointed Bryan Farhy to serve as its managing director. Farhy will own Elevado’s commercial function--leading new business, go-to-market strategy, and studio growth--as the studio expands its roster of agency and brand partners.

The hire marks a deliberate next step for Elevado which was launched in 2025 under the Saylor umbrella. Elevado has built a reputation for hybrid workflows that fuse AI with live action, animation, and VFX for clients including Johannes Leonardo, Prime Video, Adobe, Netflix, Apple, Universal, and Hilton.

“We’ve spent the last year proving the work. Now we’re building the business to match it,” said Rupert Cresswell, co-founder & chief creative officer, Elevado. “We’re not bolting AI onto old production models--we’ve built an entirely new one. Bryan has spent his career translating exceptional creative into exceptional partnerships, and he does it with taste. He’s the right person to put Elevado in every room where the most ambitious advertising work gets decided.”

Farhy joins Elevado with more than two decades of commercial leadership across the production and advertising industries. His career includes senior management at Method Studios, where he served as managing director, West Coast; B-Reel, as director of business development for North America; RSA Films as executive producer and head of sales USA; and Stink Films, as North American head of sales. Across those roles he has built and led relationships with brand-side marketing leaders, agency production heads, and creative directors--and has become known for architecting brand alliances that create real, lasting value for clients and talent alike.

At Elevado, Farhy will build and manage the... Read More
