    MIAMI --

2C Creative & Content has hired Tim Hamilton as sr. VP, development. The production company that helped launch Hamilton’s development career has brought him back onboard as it celebrates its 10th anniversary with an eye toward expanding its unscripted slate. Hamilton brings a credit list that includes creating and producing series for VH1, A+E, TLC, UP, Animal Planet, Destination America and Travel Channel.

“With his background in our sweet spot, Tim is the natural choice to champion the expansion of 2C’s development slate as we head into our next decade,” said Chris Sloan, founder and chief creative officer of 2C, which is represented by William Morris Endeavor Entertainment. Carla Kayufman Sloan is 2C’s co-founder.

Hamilton first met the Sloans while he and Carla were producing series for Telepictures in Los Angeles. A few months later, Chris and Carla Sloan launched 2C Media in Miami, asked Hamilton to join them and gave him his first opportunity to executive produce and run a series. He produced “Project: Freshman,” “Be a Red Star” and the “My Network Premiere Special” before taking an opportunity to continue his development career in L.A.

“It is such a wonderful and rare opportunity to rejoin the company that helped launch my career over a decade ago,” said Hamilton. “I’m excited to work with Chris and Carla in not only building on 2C’s strong development slate, but also helping to bring their efforts to new heights.”

Most recently, Hamilton served as VP of development at Tremendous! Entertainment in Los Angeles where he launched the West Coast development and production office, while overseeing the company’s new slate of domestic and international television projects. He created and executive produced “Ghost Asylum” for Destination America, “Angels Among Us” for TLC, “Off Pitch” for VH1, “Ghostland, Tennessee” for Animal Planet, “Family Addition with Leigh Anne Tuohy” for UP, and “Bama State Style” for A+E.  Prior to joining Tremendous, Hamilton was part of the development team at 495 Productions.

He is a member of the Producers Guild of America and the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences and has been honored with multiple Telly Awards and a Webby Award nomination for his work as executive producer of 2C’s “Project: Freshman.”

Over the past 10 years, 2C has created and produced such original series and specials as “Growing Up Gator” (GAC), “Florida Untamed” (Animal Planet), “Airport 24/7: Miami” (Travel Channel) and “Swamp Wars” (Animal Planet).

Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni Go To New York In Required Effort To Avoid Trial

    Wednesday, February 11, 2026

Actor Blake Lively and director Justin Baldoni came to a New York courthouse on Wednesday to see if her lawsuit alleging sexual harassment on the set of the 2024 romantic drama "It Ends With Us" could be settled before a May trial. The talks between lawyers went on over a six-hour period before Lively and Baldoni left the Manhattan federal courthouse separately and went straight to their waiting cars without saying anything. Lively looked stern as she walked out while Baldoni was smiling. Baldoni's attorney Bryan Freedman said in an email that the talks did not result in a settlement. Mandatory settlement talks are generally required before a civil case proceeds to trial. They are not held in public. Their acrimonious yearlong litigation has cast a wide net across the entertainment world, drawing into the headlines other actors, musicians and celebrities and raising questions about the power, influence and gender dynamics in Hollywood. Lively sued Baldoni and his hired crisis communications expert alleging harassment and a coordinated campaign to attack her reputation after she complained about his treatment of her on the movie set. Baldoni and his Wayfarer Studios production company countersued Lively and her husband, "Deadpool" actor Ryan Reynolds, accusing them of defamation and extortion. Judge Lewis J. Liman dismissed that suit last June. The trial, scheduled for May 18, was expected to be star-studded. Lively's legal team had indicated in court papers that people likely to have information about the case included singer Taylor Swift, model Gigi Hadid, actors Emily Blunt, Alexis Bledel, America Ferrera and Hugh Jackman, influencer Candace Owens, media personality Perez Hilton and designer Ashley Avignone.
