Writers Guild of America, East (WGAE) and Writers Guild of America West (WGAW) have unveiled nominations for outstanding achievement in feature screenwriting during 2019. Winners will be honored at the 2020 Writers Guild Awards on Saturday, February 1, at concurrent ceremonies in New York City and Los Angeles.

Up for Original Screenplay honors are 1917, Booksmart, Knives Out, Marriage Story and Parasite.

Nominated for best Adapted Screenplay distinction are A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood, The Irishman, Jojo Rabbit, Joker and Little Women.

In the running for the Documentary Screenplay honor are Citizen K, Foster, The Inventor: Out for Blood in Silicon Valley, Joseph Pulitzer: Voice of the People, and The Kingmaker.
