Logan Industry, a full-service production company which launched earlier this year, has brought award-winning director Tibor Glage aboard its roster for U.S. representation spanning commercials and branded content. Glage studied film at the London International Film School where he worked with Terry Gilliam, Mike Figgis, Piotr Sobociński and Freddie Francis. Glage is known for his cinematic visuals, kinetic shooting style and narrative storytelling. He has directed commercials for a wide range of brands including Mercedes, Audi, Lamborghini, Ledlenser, Huawei, IKEA, McDonald’s and Volkswagen. His work has been honored by Cannes Lions, Clio, One Show, Epica, Eurobest and NY Festivals, among others.

Glage continues to be repped in the U.K. by Progress Film. Prior to joining Logan Industry, he was handled in the U.S. ad arena by Bob Industries.

“Tibor is the most prepared director I’ve ever worked with,” said Logan Industry founding partner/executive producer José Nuñez, who worked previously with Glage. Nuñez recently co-founded Logan Industry with experienced financier Gonzalo Troncoso and serial entrepreneurs Andy Rosillo and Eu Correa. The four partners have instilled a culture of familial camaraderie that inspires Logan Industry’s creative identity and drive. Signing Glage is a coup for startup Logan Industry, adding a talent who has filmed epic campaigns all over the world--for example, showcasing Dodge in the majestic lonely landscape of Alaska, Ford in the sprawling and extreme Gobi rain shadow desert, and Ledlenser in a hidden waterfall in Chile.

Glage said. “I’ll work on brand campaigns that portray life authentically and as emotionally as possible. That’s my forte. Yes, I shoot cars and motorbikes, but I hope to collaborate with sports brands like Nike and adidas, and outdoor lifestyle brands like The North Face and Patagonia, and of course a lot of others.”

“Tibor is an incredibly well-rounded filmmaker,” said Logan Industry EP Paul Kawasaki. “Not only can he deliver cinematic visuals, he also understands the beats of performance, both dramatic and comedic. Add to that his love of the outdoors and sports--he’s an ex-skydiver and current triathlete--which is a great fit for the action sports genre. We’re excited to bring him new opportunities from the U.S. market.”

In between commercial projects, Glage is working on a documentary about sustainable companies.
