London International Awards Names McCann NY Global Agency of the Year

McCann NY scored a pair of Grand LIAs and earned Global Agency of the Year distinction at the London International Awards. McCann NY won the Integration Grand LIA for XBox’s “Changing the Game” and the Public Service/Social Awareness Grand LIA for March for Our Lives’ “Generation Lockdown.”

McCann shops in Israel and France also took home Grand LIAs. McCann TLV, Tel Aviv won the Design Grand LIA for Ikea’s “ThisAbles” while McCann Paris earned Print Grand LIA distinction for L’Oréal Paris’ “The Non-Issue.”

This broad-based performance also contributed to McCann Worldgroup taking the Global Network of the Year mantle.

A total of 15 Grand LIAs were awarded by judges who convened over a just concluded 10-day stretch at Encore Las Vegas.

The other Grand LIA winners were: 

--FCB New York, was awarded the Ambient Grand LIA for Burger King titled “The Whopper Detour”

--FCB Inferno, London was awarded the Branded Entertainment Grand LIA for Huawei titled “StorySign”

--VMLY&R, Kansas City was awarded the Digital Grand LIA for Wendy’s titled “Keeping Fortnite Fresh”

--AMV BBDO, London was awarded the Health & Wellness Grand LIA for Essity Libresse/Bodyform titled “Viva La Vulva”

--AMV BBDO, London was awarded the Health & Wellness - Craft Grand LIA for Essity Libresse/Bodyform titled “Viva La Vulva”

--Wave Studios, New York was awarded the Music & Sound Grand LIA for The New York Times titled “The Truth Is Worth It: Fearlessness”

--FCB New York, New York was awarded the Non-Traditional Grand LIA for Burger King titled “The Whopper Detour”

--AREA 23, an FCB Health Network Company, New York was awarded the Pharmaceuticals - Craft Grand LIA for Constant Therapy titled “One Word”

--Furlined, Los Angeles was awarded the Production & Post-Production Grand LIA for The New York Times titled “The Truth Is Worth It: Fearlessness”

--Forsman & Bodenfors, Gothenburg was awarded the The NEW Grand LIA for Volvo Cars titled “The E.V.A. Initiative”

--AMV BBDO, London was awarded the TV/Cinema/Online Film Grand LIA for Essity Libresse/Bodyform titled “Viva La Vulva”

Global Best of the Year honors
