Darren Foldes

Darren Foldes has joined global content studio Pulse Films as a new U.S. executive Producer in its commercials and branded entertainment division. Foldes, who will primarily focus on sales, will report to Davud Karbassioun, global president of the division, and will work out of the company’s Los Angeles office. Foldes recently served as an executive producer at Caviar, and prior to that he was EP/head of sales at Green Dot Films for over a decade. Along the way he has built up strong relationships and led projects for brands including Apple, Nike, Virgin, Gatorade, Call of Duty, GE, ESPN, Google, Skittles, Toyota and Target working closely with agencies including Droga5, 72andSunny, Wieden+Kennedy, Media Arts Lab, Mother, BBDO, Goodby Silverstein & Partners, Deutsch, DDB and Leo Burnett. Before making the transition to advertising, Foldes produced two films for MGM. He began his career working for Arnold Kopelson, the Academy Award-winning producer of Platoon, Seven, The Fugitive and Falling Down....

RUSHWORKS, the software development company specializing in cool technology for production, playback and streaming, has appointed industry veteran Rich Desimone as Northeast states sales rep. Rush Beesley, RUSHWORKS president, made the announcement from company headquarters in Flower Mound, Texas. In his new role, Desimone will focus on Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Vermont, New York, Pennsylvania and his home state of New Jersey. Before joining RUSHWORKS, Desimone was station manager of METV, the PEG channel for the Borough of Metuchen. Additionally, he serves as the managing director of the Jersey Access Group (JAG), spearheading the expanded interrelationship with the National Association of Telecommunications Officers and Advisors (NATOA) regional and national operations. Desimone will support RUSHWORKS’ many technology products, with an emphasis on the newly launched A-LIST Streamster Scheduling and Playback System, the IP-only companion to the company’s flagship A-LIST Broadcast Automation System that’s used by networks, full-power stations, LPTV stations, and PEG channels, both domestically and internationally. On the production side, Desimone will support the company’s recently introduced 3n1 single fixture, triple function video camera, as well as RUSHWORKS’ core product range that includes VDESK, REMO and Ctrl+R Integrated Production Systems, and the RUSHWORKS PTX Universal PanTilt head series that provides VISCA and DMX control in addition to pan and tilt capability for most popular cameras and camcorders...
