Seed Media Arts has secured Nathan Skillicorn, founder of indie rep firm Heart, Brains & Nerve, to handle sales in the Midwest. Nathan is the son of Roy Skillicorn who heads up Seed, which maintains offices in Chicago and L.A. Via Heart, Brains & Nerve, Nathan Skillicorn is the Midwest sales agent for Believe Media, Schrom, Vitamin, Dapper and The Royal Budapest. Nathan Skillicorn additionally is part of the NY-based Free Agents team who represent Buck, Nexus, Passion Pictures, Elastic, Hornet, Aspekt, Gentleman Scholar, Strange Beast, Nexus Interactive Arts and GenPop....

Hinge, a boutique 3D visual effects and animation studio based in Portland, Ore., has hired Amy Hassler Jacobson to handle overall sales and marketing strategy for the company. Hassler Jacobson’s background includes a stint as executive producer and head of sales for Rhythm + Hues in Los Angeles, where she helped shape the advertising division of the Academy award winning VFX/animation studio and provided oversight on campaigns for Geico, Electronic Arts, Mercedes Benz, and other notable brands. She has also worked for animation studios LAIKA and ReelFX/Radium during other points in her career....

Shure Incorporated, a Niles, Illinois-headquartered manufacturer of microphones and audio electronics, has promoted three executives in its global marketing and sales division. Ray Crawford has been upped to SVP of global marketing and sales. Since he joined Shure in 2005, Crawford has been responsible for implementing Shure’s strategic business plan and has overseen the company’s global business initiatives. He is a member of the executive staff and chairperson of the Shure Corporate Management Committee. Althea Ricketts has been promoted to associate VP of global marketing and sales operations. Since 2014, she has been leading this function, ensuring that demand for Shure products is met throughout the Americas. In this expanded role, she will be responsible for global finance, customer service, and support departments as well as sales and operations planning. And Erik Vaveris has been named associate VP of global marketing. In this role, Vaveris will monitor the consolidation of specific marketing functions worldwide and lead the planning and implementation of Shure’s marketing efforts to ensure global consistency with its brand position, localizing where appropriate.....
