Advertising agency Camp + King has promoted Rikesh Lal and Jesse Dillow to executive creative directors.

As co-creative directors, Lal and Dillow have been responsible for the agency’s creative output over the years. Lal, an art director, and Dillow, a writer, first worked with agency principals Roger Camp and Jamie King at Publicis & Hal Riney almost 15 years ago.

“I’ve been fortunate to work with Rikesh and Jesse for more than a decade, and I’ve watched firsthand as they not only became better, more confident creatives but also grew into amazing mentors and managers, as well,” said Camp + King CCO Camp. “And I’m proud as hell that they’re finally getting a title that better reflects the work they’ve done at this agency for years.”

Lal was one of Camp + King’s first creative hires almost nine years ago. Dillow was hired to partner with Lal six years ago after a wildly successful run at Leo Burnett where his work for Esurance won multiple awards and became the No. 1 trending topic on Twitter by hijacking the Super Bowl and creating the most talked about brand during the big game that year.

Lal and Dillow have led new business wins for Camp + King and subsequent creative output for brands such as RE/MAX, PrAna, UGG®, Papa John’s, YouTube, Bacardi, and many others. Lal and Dillow’s work has received recognition from Cannes, The One Show and Clio.

And beyond the creative accolades and business growth, they have helped create the Camp + King culture. From helping to design the physical space within the agency to mentoring creatives, they’ve made the agency a place where people look forward to spending time. Camp + King was named one of the top 50 “Best Places to Work” by Outside magazine.
