CP+B LA has hired creative director Sabina Hesse. She will lead the agency’s work on the PayPal global account, as well as others.
Hesse joins the agency from HEIMAT, Berlin where she spent the past seven years as creative director. She started her career at Ogilvy & Mather, Frankfurt, where she won her first two Cannes Lions for the “Contemporary Beauty Ideal” campaign from eating disorder prevention organization ANAD. Two years later, she moved to HEIMAT, Berlin and started working on its most awarded client, the home improvement chain Hornbach. In 2013, she successfully led one of the most important pitches in Germany for Otto, the nation’s largest online retailer. The new account resulted in the formation of a whole new unit for the agency, led by Hesse and her partner. At HEMAT, she has also been responsible for clients like Airbnb, Loctite and Weightwatchers Germany.
For her work, Hesse has won numerous national and international awards, including Grand Prix at the German and European Art Directors Club as well as Cannes Lions, Clios, Eurobest, One Show and others. She has been a member of the ADC Germany since 2014.
Kevin Jones, chief creative officer, CP+B LA, said of Hesse, “Her global experience makes her a great fit for PayPal as we continue rolling out work across the world.”
