London-based director Mitch Stratten has joined Moxie Pictures for commercial representation in the US and UK. Originally hailing from South Africa, Stratten made a name for himself with his Time Sculpture film for Toshiba, which broke the Guinness World Record for most moving image cameras used in a single shot, and also drew acclaim from awards, critics, and consumers alike. His work has been recognized at D&AD, Cannes, Clios, and the APA Show to name but a few.,,,

Denver-based agency LRXD is expanding into the movie business. Its new video production department, LRXD Films, is designed to develop original assets to make cost-effective creative, quality web, mobile and broadcast content. Named LRXD’s director of New Media Productions is Jonas Mayabb, a commercial director who’s worked in Los Angeles for 16 years. He did production design for some of the biggest Hollywood blockbusters and for eight years taught Advertising and Film at Art Center College of Design. His many industry accolades include Clios, Cannes Lions, Tellys, an Addy, an ADC award and an Emmy. He moved to Denver in June....
