Dirty Robber, a Los Angeles-based production and entertainment company, has signed director Joris Debeij who recently won a Young Director Award as the Cannes Lions International Advertising Festival for his New York Times op-doc Perfectly Normal. Debeij’s directing credits include ad campaigns for Apple, JetBlue, U.S. Olympic Committee, Hoka One One, and the NBA’s Sacramento Kings. Born and raised in The Netherlands, Debeij is a Los Angeles transplant who launched his directing career in 2010 with the online project I Am Los Angeles, a documentary series featured in The New York Times, BBC, Los Angeles Times and at The Sundance Film Festival. Debeij’s latest film, Tailwhip, is a Webby-honored documentary short featured on Uninterrupted, LeBron James’ multimedia platform. Dirty Robber has offices in Los Angeles and New York City and shares its L.A. quarters with sister company, Coyote Post, a full service postproduction studio staffed with a collective of editors, VFX artists and colorists....

Bassam Abdel-Rahman has been appointed managing director of 72andSunny Singapore. He will work alongside the current leadership team comprised of Johnny Tan, executive creative director, and Chiew Ling Tan, director of talent and operations, reporting into Chris Kay, 72andSunny partner. Abdel-Rahman will join the Singapore team in September after spending two years as a global group brand director at 72andSunny Amsterdam where he led the global adidas account and Samsung mobile. He most recently played an integral role in the latest 2018 adidas World Cup campaign, “Creativity is the Answer.” Abdel-Rahman  came to 72andSunny following a sabbatical trip across South America. Prior to that, he spent 10 years working for international agencies such as BBH Asia Pacific, Agency.com London, Media Arts Lab London and Los Angeles, and TBWA London partnering with Nike, Google, British Airways, Apple and PlayStation....
