Moritz Merkel

Moritz Merkel will join Stink Berlin as executive producer in July, working with Martina Lulsdorf and Lutz Muller to jointly manage the production company’s German branch. Stink also maintains offices in London, Paris, Shanghai, Los Angeles, New York, Sao Paulo and Moscow. Merkel is leaving his position as managing director of Partizan’s Berlin Office, which he founded nearly nine years ago. Merkel’s previous company affiliations include RadicalMedia, Jo!Schmit and Chase by Cowboys. On the agency side, he worked as head of TV at Hamburg creative shops Kolle Rebbe and Jung von Matt....

International production house Taylor James has opened an office in Berlin. The company also has offices in Los Angeles, Detroit, New York and London. The Berlin shop will be headed by Knut Buhren, who will serve as client services director, and Libor Tesacek, executive producer. Buhren has worked in the commercial production industry in Germany for over 20 years in various roles, starting as a producer and growing into a managing director capacity. Tesacek has worked in the German production market for 13-plus years....
