His latest feature film, Rudeboy , will be released in autumn 2019. The feature documentary, about the intersection of Jamaican street and U.K. punk subculture in the 1960s/’70s, has been screened at more than 30 film festivals, including a world premiere at BFI London Film Festival and a U.S. premiere at DOC NYC.

Wilf Sweetland, global CEO and partner of Sweetshop, said of Davies, “He evokes nuanced performances from his cast and gives creatives the highest level of craft you will find anywhere.”

Greg Schultz, managing director of Sweetshop USA, added that Davies’ “boundless curiosity and beautifully cinematic eye elicit a ton of emotional energy in on screen performance.”

Davies said he signed with Sweetshop “because I feel that they not only understand my creative vision but align with my deeper desire to make the process of my craft meaningful. I’m so excited for the body of work we’ll be able to build together.”
