Known for their celebrity-packed comedy shorts that have become huge viral hits, Saturday Night Live directors Hannah Levy and Adriana Robles have signed with Tool of North America for U.S. representation spanning commercials and branded content.

Tool is repping Levy and Robles individually as filmmakers but they are available on occasion to direct as a team on select projects.

Levy’s directorial credits include: “Boomers Got the Vax,” starring Maya Rudolph; “Lesbian Period Drama,” featuring Kate McKinnon; and a spoof of the pandemic’s hottest high-energy spinning workout “Pelotaunt.”

Robles directed Pete Davidson as Eminem in “NFTs,” Carey Mulligan as a room-clearing parent/patient in an IBS Medicine Ad spoof, and Kyle Mooney as a devastatingly insincere influencer in “Viral Apology Video.”

Coming to Tool in a full creative sprint, Levy has already directed her first project last week for Ad Council.

Levy and Robles bring further diversity to the Tool roster as female directors and more. Levy is an LGBTQ filmmaker and Robles is Latinx.

Prior to joining Tool, Levy and Robles were most recently represented in the ad arena by production house Superprime.

A graduate of Brown University, Levy began her career at The Onion and Funny or Die. She has worked with Paul Feig, Broadway Video, and the directing incubator Powderkeg, as well as written for Clickhole and the hit Comedy Central series Alternatino. She has a sketch show in development with a cast of Jim Henson’s puppet characters.

Born and raised in Florida, Robles has used her LatinX upbringing to write for Alternatino as well, along with numerous web series and short films. She too has collaborated with Feig, Broadway Video and Powderkeg.

Both Levy and Robles have a film in development with Paramount called Squad Goals.
