In & Out Productions has entered into a partnership with branded content communications company Casta Diva. Both shops are advocates and examples of diversity, with In & Out being minority-owned and both being women-led. Together, the companies bring close to 40 years of experience to the table, in addition to over 150 directors.

In & Out has turned out work for agencies such as Saatchi & Saatchi, VMLY&R, and Burrell Communications. The production company has the capability to create work in both English and Spanish, and has extended its reach and resources even furhter with the Casta Diva merger.

In & Out and Casta Diva have already proven their ability to strengthen one another and work together in harmony with their recent 23andMe commercial for the U.S. market. Casta Diva director Ramiro Nobrega was paired with In & Out Mexico for the project. Hailing from Argentina, Nobrega filmed the spot in Mexico, with producers from both companies teaming to craft the campaign.

The companies also joined forces on a U.S. market spot for Nissan Qashqai with TBWA\Buenos Aires, directed by Casta Diva’s Jony Perel and Luciano Ruiz. Originally, the script was designed to take place in an abstract limbo shot inside a studio; Casta Diva, however, wanted to take it outdoors to a real location, free of the restrictions of artificial light and limited space. Looking for this unique site that could reflect an infinite limbo with a clean, paved road, Casta Diva turned to In & Out Mexico for support. Together, they found the perfect solution: a brand new plane runway, in the middle of the desert, surrounded on all sides by mountains and nothing more. Proposing this rare, natural, and cinematic location to the agency and client, the team won the pitch.

Frida Sellar, president and executive producer at In & Out Productions, said, “In & Out’s strategy of expansion and growth has always included forging more alliances. With Casta Diva, we had been flirting with the idea of creating a more formal relationship for a while, having known each other for years. We complement each other so well, sharing similar work culture, goals, and high standards for our clients, and we finally realized that we’d be unstoppable together, representing an world-class group of directors that cover an incredible range of creative aspects. That’s what made us take that step from flirting to a real alliance.”

Marcos Hernández, head of production and exec producer at Casta Diva, added, “This new alliance opens up an incredible opportunity for clients and creative agencies alike: producing with a roster of more than 150 first-class, international directors from a vast spread of countries, with 14 production offices between the the U.S., Latin America, Europe and Asia.”
