Pankaj Bajpai to join Technicolor as VP and episodic colorist

Pankaj Bajpai will be joining Technicolor’s Los Angeles studio in August as VP, finishing artist and business development. Bajpai will join Technicolor from his long-tenured position at Encore. His credits include shows such as Sex and the City, House of Cards, Carnivàle, True Detective, Olive Kitteridge, Justified, Fear the Walking Dead, Genius for both the Einstein and Picasso seasons, and Snowfall. With a background in both film cinematography and digital postproduction, he has brought his unique understanding of the two mediums to support the needs of contemporary production and post, creating long lasting creative collaborations.

Bajpai joins Technicolor’s roster of episodic colorists in Los Angeles who include Sparkle, Tim Vincent, Tony Dustin, Tom Forletta, Roy Vasich and Doug Delaney.

Sherri Potter, Techicolor’s president of worldwide post, said, “The landscape of episodic content continues to evolve and at Technicolor we understand that we must continue to evolve how we serve our clients. The expansion of our colorist roster is just one way in which we will continue our evolution for our clients.”
