Arts Academy Edit has added award-winning editor Erin Nordstrom to its talent roster. This marks her return to the commercial and advertising world after years of successful long-from project work.
Nordstrom’s career is a testament to her versatility and mastery of the craft, with a portfolio that spans advertising, television, and documentary filmmaking. Her journey began in the advertising industry, where she honed her ability to distill brand messages into narratives for brands like Samsung, Toyota, NHL, Amazon, and Google.
Nordstrom made a powerful entry into documentary filmmaking with her feature-length debut, I Am Trying to Break Your Heart, a critically acclaimed exploration of the band Wilco. This project was followed by CaveDigger, a documentary that garnered an Academy Award® nomination, highlighting her talent for crafting visually compelling and emotionally resonant narratives.
Her recent endeavors include HBO’s Smartless: On the Road, featuring Jason Bateman, Will Arnett, and Sean Hayes, which is currently streaming on Max. Additionally, Nordstrom’s latest project, Omnivore, a television series starring René Redzepi, delves into the past, present, and future through the lens of food and is currently airing on Apple TV+.

Ben Clark appointed managing director of The Mill London
The Mill, part of the Technicolor Group, has appointed Ben Clark to serve as managing director of the London studio, directly reporting to president Mark Benson. Clark brings a wealth of experience across the brand, production, and agency sectors. Prior to joining The Mill, Clark worked at The & Partnership, founded Acne, a full-service production company (subsequently acquired by Deloitte Digital), and most recently, was EMEA chief production officer, McCann Worldgroup and Craft.
Clark’s appointment comes at a pivotal time for The Mill as the company continues to innovate across its global studios, leveraging new technologies to drive creativity across multiple platforms.
