Lux Aeterna appoints Alex Dilworth as design creative director

    Alex Dilworth
    LONDON --

Independent VFX and creative studio Lux Aeterna has appointed Alex Dilworth as design creative director, strengthening the studio’s creative leadership as it continues to expand its work across film, high-end television, documentary, unscripted storytelling, and immersive content.

With over 20 years in the industry, Dilworth has built a practice spanning film, television, and large-scale visual experiences.

“Alex combines a strong design sensibility with a clear storytelling instinct,” said Rob Hifle, founder and director, Lux Aeterna. “His approach aligns naturally with how we work across editorial, VFX, and design.”

Prior to joining the team, Dilworth held senior creative roles where he collaborated closely with directors, editors, and VFX teams on a wide range of premium television and film projects. His work encompasses flagship natural history title sequences such as The Green Planet, Earth, and Planet Earth III, as well as the visual identity for Netflix’s History 101, which received a Collision Design Award. In addition, Dilworth has designed broadcast packages and large-scale visuals for global live events and installations. Some of his recent credits include creative direction and graphic design for the Netflix documentary Chimp Empire, and Ocean with David Attenborough for NatGeo/Disney+.

In his new role, Dilworth will work across Lux Aeterna’s slate to help shape direction from early development through post-production.

“The caliber of the work at Lux Aeterna speaks for itself,” said Dilworth. “What really drew me in was the value placed on the creative process from the top down. I love not knowing what the next brief will look like, or what form the solution will take. That freedom to explore, and to do so collaboratively, is incredibly energizing.”

The Den adds editor Tina Mintus

    Tuesday, May 12, 2026

Editor Tina Mintus has joined The Den. Her work over the past three decades has included collaborations with top agencies, brands, directors, and producers. She had most recently been with Northern Lights.

Mintus’ career began in New York City, where she worked as an assistant editor, learning the old-school way and building her foundation from the ground up. During that time, she quickly realized the power and, therefore, responsibility an editor possesses when it comes to shaping a film and effectively telling a story. Over the years, she has developed longstanding relationships with agencies, directors, and brands who trust her to bring concepts to life across any genre. Through this network of collaborators, her credits as an editor span such brands as Lincoln, Mint Mobile, Subway, Rapyd, Revlon, Dove, L’Oréal, Olay, Target, Mercedes-Benz, American Express, JCPenney, and many others.

“There was an energy with them that felt right from the beginning,” remarked Tina Mintus on signing with The Den. “They have this really exciting mix of ambition, creativity, and genuinely good humans. At this point in my career, I want to keep doing great work, keep growing, and keep building strong creative relationships, but I also want to be somewhere that feels like home. The Den really feels like that, and I’m excited to be a part of what’s next.”

LauRenn Reed, executive producer of The Den, added, “Tina Mintus is about trust, collaboration, and building something lasting, and so are we. Her quick wit, warmth, and compassion are magnetic. Tina is a powerhouse, and we’re so lucky to have her and her brilliant mind at The Den.”
