    NEW YORK --

Global creative agency DAVID has promoted two creative duos in its New York office–Pedro Sattin and Sébastien Rouvière, and Jason Burke and Erin Evon–to group creative directors. Also, Carmen Fenech has been promoted to associate creative director.

As founding members of DAVID New York, Sattin and Rouvière have played critical roles in the agency’s rapid rise since its launch in 2022, including securing the agency’s first AOR client, CLIF (Mondelez). They have been instrumental in making Supercell’s games culturally relevant, driving the company to its most profitable year ever. Their work contributed to DAVID New York’s Entertainment Agency of the Year win at Cannes Lions 2025, delivering campaigns including “Haaland Payback Time.” Before joining DAVID New York, Sattin and Rouvière worked at DAVID Madrid for three years. Throughout their careers, the duo has earned two Titanium and three Grand Prix at Cannes Lions and over 300 awards at international festivals including D&AD, Clio, One Show, ANDY, LIA, Effie, and Eurobest.

Burke and Evon joined DAVID New York in 2024 as creative directors from Rethink. They played a key role in winning the IKEA business and were instrumental in launching the brand’s new U.S. platform, Dream the Possibilities. At DAVID New York, they have also delivered standout work for Cointreau, including Any Tequila starring Aubrey Plaza. Known for building powerful brand partnerships, Burke and Evon have led and shaped campaigns that connect brands with culture in unexpected ways, like Clash of Clans x WWE (Supercell) and, prior to DAVID, Tide x Marvel, Goldfish x Boban, among others. Burke and Evon’s work has been recognized across every major global award show.

Fenech has been with DAVID for nearly three years and was promoted to ACD. Prior to joining DAVID, she built her career at Hill Holliday in Boston and TAXI in Toronto. Over the past year, Fenech has played a key role in shaping several of the agency’s most high-profile and successful campaigns, including DAVID’s first wave of work for IKEA following the business win, Cointreau’s Any Tequila, and Clash of Clans’ Barbarian Look-Alike Competition. Fenech’s work has been recognized by top global and national award shows, including Cannes Lions, D&AD, The One Show, LIA, and Communication Arts.

All group creative directors report to Daniel Lobatón (DAVID North America, chief creative officer) and André Toledo (DAVID New York, chief creative officer). “These promotions recognize the talent and impact our team brings to DAVID every day. Valuing and growing our people are core to our culture, and their work raises the creative bar for our clients and our agency,” said Toledo.

Actor Anthony Head, known for “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” and “Ted Lasso,” dies at 72

Anthony Head, the suave, smooth-voiced British actor known for roles in "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" and "Ted Lasso," has died, his family said Friday. He was 72.

Head's daughters, actors Emily and Daisy Head, told the Press Association news agency that the actor passed away due to complications from pneumonia.

The stage and TV performer became well known to British audiences in the 1980s as one half of a will-they, won't-they romantic couple in a series of ads for Nescafe Gold Blend instant coffee. The ads were later re-shot for a U.S. audience for Taster's Choice.

Head achieved wider fame as librarian Rupert Giles, mentor to the title character in the cult-favorite supernatural series "Buffy the Vampire Slayer," which ran from 1997 to 2003.

He most recently played Rupert Mannion, the villainous ex-husband of Hannah Waddingham's character Rebecca, in "Ted Lasso."

"Our grief is far greater than the hole he has left behind, but we know his legacy will live on, in the shows he was a part of, and in the audiences that love them," his daughters said. "How lucky we are to know we are able to watch him doing what he loved, even when he is no longer with us."

Head was born in London on Feb. 20, 1954 to Seafield Head, a documentary filmmaker, and Helen Shingler, an actor. His older brother, Murray, is also an actor.

Other notable roles included playing Geoffrey Howe, the deputy to Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher, played by Meryl Streep, in the Oscar-winning "The Iron Lady."

Head portrayed a prime minister himself in the sketch comedy show "Little Britain," as well as King Uther Pendragon, the father of Prince Arthur, in the "Merlin" TV series. He also appeared in "Motherland," Manchild," and "Silent Witness," along... Read More
