    CANNES, France --

Lions Health, the new two-day festival for creativity in healthcare communications, is introducing the ‘Lions Health United Nations Foundation Grand Prix for Good’ award to honor the best entry for a charity, public service or NGO.

A select jury of seven members will review all the Gold Lion winning work chosen by both the Health & Wellness and Pharma juries and award one outstanding entry for a not-for-profit client to be presented with the accolade.

The Grand Prix for Good jury will include Kathy Calvin, president and CEO, United Nations Foundation; Health & Wellness jury president Kathy Delaney, global chief creative officer of Saatchi & Saatchi Wellness; Pharma jury president Jeremy Perrott, global chief creative officer of McCann Health; and four other members selected from the two Lions Health juries.

The winner of this prestigious honor will be revealed during the Lions Health awards in Cannes, France, on Saturday, June 14, and presented with the trophy by the UN Foundation’s Kathy Calvin.

Terry Savage, chairman of Lions Festivals, says, “The United Nations Foundation supports the UN and connects people, ideas, and resources to help the UN solve global problems. As such, we could not wish for a better partner for this award as the Foundation’s values truly reflect the principles of this accolade – brave, innovative and life-changing.”

“By celebrating creativity that improves health and wellness around the world, Lions Health is drawing attention to the best work being done to help create stronger, healthier families and communities,” said Calvin. “Recognising the best of the best with this new award will help us all as we strive for innovative approaches to global challenges.”

The winner of the Lions Health United Nations Foundation Grand Prix for Good will earn ten points which will contribute towards the calculation of the Lions Health Network of the Year and Agency of the Year awards.

The Lions Health Awards honor the world’s most creative and impactful healthcare communication ideas that have overcome the unique challenges faced by healthcare brands. The Lions Health Festival offers an unmissable learning opportunity with an unparalleled world-class thought-leadership programme and is a global meeting place where healthcare and communications professionals come together to raise the bar of creative excellence in the industry.

Jalen Brunson and the New York Knicks' 94-90 victory over the San Antonio Spurs on Saturday night to capture their first NBA title in 53 years averaged 24.5 million viewers on ABC and ESPN, making it the most watched Game 5 since 1998.

The audience peaked at 33 million, as Brunson was putting the wraps on a 45-point performance as the Knicks rallied from a 10-point deficit in the fourth quarter.

The finals averaged 20.6 million according to Nielsen, the highest since ABC and ESPN started carrying it in 2003. It is only the third time since 1999, the finals have averaged at least 20 million.

Golden State's victory over Cleveland in five games in 2017 averaged 20.47 million while the 2016 finals, where the Cavaliers defeated the Warriors in seven games, averaged 20.2 million.

Last year's finals between Oklahoma City and Indiana averaged 10.31 million across seven games.

The 1998 series between Chicago and Utah, where Michael Jordan won his sixth and final NBA title, averaged 29.04 million in six games.
