    NEW YORK (AP) --

Streaming service Paramount+ has landed a documentary that offers a glimpse into the personal life of Madonna and her work on the road.

The streaming arm of ViacomCBS said Thursday that "Madame X" will make its debut in the U.S., Latin America, Australia, Nordic countries and Canada beginning Oct. 8.

Filmed in Lisbon, Portugal, the film "captures the pop icon's rare and rapturous tour performance," according to a press release. It features 48 on-stage performers including Madonna's children, musicians and dancers from around the globe.

The film will take "viewers on a journey as compelling and audacious as Madonna's fearless persona Madame X, a secret agent traveling around the world, changing identities, fighting for freedom and bringing light to dark places."

It will come 30 years after the pop star's groundbreaking documentary "Truth or Dare," chronicling her life during her Blond Ambition world tour. Her last album, also called "Madame X," hit the top spot of the Billboard 200 chart in 2019.

Indie agency Pereira O’Dell has promoted creative directors Julie Rutigliano and Fernando “Bisnaga” Passos to executive creative directors.

At Pereira O’Dell, the duo of over seven years has been instrumental in the agency’s recent creative success, leading efforts for some of its most celebrated work, including the standout Manscaped “Love Your Boys” campaign and the highly acclaimed Midea “90 Minutes of Air Conditioning”--both widely recognized by Cannes Lions, ANDY, CLIO and One Show. Rutigliano and Passos have also been integral to Pereira O’Dell’s new business efforts and helped the agency land seven clients in January alone last year.

“Julie and Fernando are two creative leaders with a natural instinct for creating work at the intersection of advertising, entertainment and technology--this has always been our sweet spot as an agency,” said Jason Apaliski, chief creative officer at Pereira O’Dell. “What makes them special is their conviction that true creativity can transform a brand, coupled with a rare ability to infuse culture into everything they produce.”

Rutigliano joined Pereira O’Dell four years ago, and brings over 18 years of industry experience to her new role, having previously worked at global advertising and entertainment brands including JWT, Fallon, MTV, Comedy Central, McCann, and VICE. She has led creative for iconic and emerging brands including Manscaped, Budweiser, L’Oreal, Hanes, TA3 and MINI USA.

Passos also joined Pereira O’Dell in 2021, with nearly 20 years of global creative experience at agencies including Ogilvy Brazil, Energy BBDO Chicago, JOAN NY, and Jones Knowles Ritchie Global (JKR). Recognized as one of the Top 4 Most Awarded Art Directors in the world by the... Read More
