Digital agency Pound & Grain has hired Penny Norman as its new planning director and client lead. Norman brings more than 10 years creative experience of working at top agencies in the U.K. In her new role, Norman will be responsible for uncovering consumer insights to foster work that is relevant and effective in influencing the right audience.
Norman will bring her expertise to Pound & Grain’s client roster and work for TELUS, BC Dairy Association, MEC, YYoga, Whil, CTV, CMT, Rick Hansen Foundation, and Gentle Fawn.
Norman got her start in the creative field after winning a place on the Publicis London graduate initiative after she graduated from the University of Edinburgh. There she learned the artistry and science of advertising by working on brands such as Nestle and United Biscuits. After her two years with Publicis, she worked as an account director at London’s AMV BBDO, where she worked on brands such as Procter & Gamble, Clarks Shoes, AVIVA, Royal Mail and EDF Energy.
In 2012, Norman took a trip “across the pond” to find something more accommodating to her love for outdoor life. Preceding her position at Pound & Grain, Norman led the MTS, Money Mart, and Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation accounts as well as new business initiatives at DARE.
