    Rachael Harris
    HOLLYWOOD, Calif. --

Actress and producer Rachael Harris, known for her performances in shows like “Goosebumps” and “Lucifer” and the feature film “The Hangover,” returns to host the 12th Annual Location Managers Guild International (LMGI) Awards, bringing her quick wit and talent to the star-studded event. The awards gala will take place on Saturday, August 23, 2025, at the Eli and Edythe Broad Stage Performing Arts Center in Santa Monica.

LMGI president John Rakich said of Harris, “Her wit, warmth, and undeniable charm brought such energy to last year’s show, and we couldn’t be happier to have her return. Rachael’s genuine appreciation for the work of location professionals makes her the perfect ambassador for our celebration.”

Harris, well-known for roles in television and movies, has worked on productions in many locations. Her career started when she joined the sketch comedy group The Groundlings. From there, she went on to television as a correspondent on “The Daily Show with Jon Stewart.” Her additional TV credits include “Surviving Jack,” “Friends,” “Frasier,” “Curb Your Enthusiasm,” “Modern Family,” “New Girl,” “Ghosts,” “Fantasy Island” and “Suits.” She most recently stars as Nora in Disney+’s “Goosebumps” and on “Leverage: Redemption.”

Harris has appeared in many theatrical films, including “The Hangover,” “Unfrosted: The Pop-Tart Story,” “Old Dads,” and the original three “Diary of a Wimpy Kid” movies. She has also appeared in several of Christopher Guest’s largely improvised ensemble comedies “Best in Show,” “A Mighty Wind” and “For Your Consideration.”

The LMGI Awards honor the outstanding and creative contributions of location professionals in film, television, commercials and film commissions from around the globe and celebrate the art and craft of location scouting and management. Awards will be presented in the following categories: Contemporary Film, Period Film, Contemporary TV, Period TV, TV Anthology/MOW/Limited Series, Commercials and Film Commissions. Honorary Awards include the Humanitarian, Lifetime Achievement, Trailblazer and Eva Monley Awards.

Chairing the 2025 LMGI Awards Committee are Rakich and Nancy Haecker, LMGI. Returning as producers of this year’s LMGI Awards are IngleDodd Media and Erick Weiss of Honeysweet Creative.

Rethink appoints Marika Wiggan as executive strategy director

    Marika Wiggan

Independent creative agency Rethink has appointed Marika Wiggan as executive strategy director. Based in Vancouver, Wiggan will operate across the network, leading strategic direction across key client work and helping shape new opportunities for the agency. She will report to partner and global chief strategy officer Sean McDonald. At Rethink, she will drive strategic direction across clients, partnering closely with teams to ensure strategy is embedded throughout the work--connecting culture, brand, and audience into more cohesive and impactful ideas. “Marika struck me as a Rethinker from the first time that I met her,” said McDonald. “She brings the kind of perspective and ambition that pushes the work beyond expectations. As we continue to build Rethink into a truly international creative partner, it’s critical that we bring in talent that can redefine what great looks like across markets. Marika is one of those people.” Originally from Vancouver, Wiggan returns to Canada after several years in the United States. Most recently, she served as head of strategy at Preacher in Austin, where she led the agency’s strategy department for five years. During that time, she worked across a range of brands, including Molson Coors, GMC, Coca-Cola North America, WeTransfer, and ESPN. Prior to Preacher, she held roles at Argonaut and Goodby Silverstein & Partners, where she began her career working on the Chevrolet portfolio, including launches for the Volt, Camaro, and Sonic. “Rethink has a clarity of ambition that I wanted to be a part of,” said Wiggan. “It’s clear that teams are here to make the best work of their careers and do it with people who love our craft. I’m thrilled to be back in Vancouver and helping build on that... Read More
