The lineup of jury president and jurors has been set for the London International Awards’ (LIA) 2023 Creativity In The Metaverse and Evolution categories.

Kaleeta McDade, chief experience design officer of VMLY&R. has been named president of the Creativity In The Metaverse and Evolution jury. In her role at VMLY&R, she bridges creative storytelling, technology, design, and user experience for clients.  She has demonstrated a proven ability to drive impact for brands; helping them shape a strategy and vision that deepens the consumer relationship across every stage of the engagement life cycle.

Entries into these LIA categories do not have to focus on advertising, but rather creative solutions. McDade’s belief that when experiences are produced at the intersection of creativity, humanity and technology, they have the power to transform companies and brands, makes her a perfect fit as jury president.

On judging LIA, McDade stated, “LIA recognizes the Metaverse is more volatile than it is impermanent. Our ability to build virtual worlds and create cultural connection is worth celebrating. The same way the mobile phone democratized the internet, glasses will democratize the Metaverse. We are hitting the hype curve of disbelief, there is a first mover advantage for those who continue to believe. LIA has facilitated an opportunity to express, not the revolution of marketing – but the evolution. Creating a stage for new narratives, that transition us, as an industry, from storytelling to story-living.  It is such an honor to be afforded the opportunity to lead both of these categories.”

Here’s the lineup of judges for the Creativity In The Metaverse and Evolution jury:

CREATIVITY IN THE METAVERSE AND EVOLUTION JURY

    • Joey David Tiempo, founder/CEO, Octopus&Whale, Manila
    • Félix del Valle, chief creative officer, MRM Spain, Madrid
    • Bianca Guimaraes, partner/executive creative director, Mischief @ No Fixed Address, Brooklyn
    • Naoki Ito, chief creative officer/founder, PARTY, Tokyo
    • Kadine James, chief disruptor executive producer, Artificial Rome, Berlin
    • Carren O’Keefe, chief creative officer, Digitas UK, London
    • Taj Reid, global chief experience officer, Edelman
    • Wesley ter Haar, founder, Media.Monks, Los Angeles
    • Lewis Tutssel, head of EMEA gaming, Creative Shop, Meta, London
    • Dissara Udomdej, CEO/creative founder, Yell Advertising, Bangkok

The juries will gather on-site in Las Vegas to view every piece of work in their respective categories. LIA has no pre-judging. This ensures that all work will be judged equally through careful deliberations and robust discussions.

Onsite judging takes place Oct. 7-15, with winners announced during the judging period. “Of the Year” awards are announced on Nov. 5.

    Rachael Harris

Actress and producer Rachael Harris, known for her performances in shows like “Goosebumps” and “Lucifer” and the feature film “The Hangover,” returns to host the 12th Annual Location Managers Guild International (LMGI) Awards, bringing her quick wit and talent to the star-studded event. The awards gala will take place on Saturday, August 23, 2025, at the Eli and Edythe Broad Stage Performing Arts Center in Santa Monica.

LMGI president John Rakich said of Harris, “Her wit, warmth, and undeniable charm brought such energy to last year’s show, and we couldn’t be happier to have her return. Rachael’s genuine appreciation for the work of location professionals makes her the perfect ambassador for our celebration.”

Harris, well-known for roles in television and movies, has worked on productions in many locations. Her career started when she joined the sketch comedy group The Groundlings. From there, she went on to television as a correspondent on “The Daily Show with Jon Stewart.” Her additional TV credits include “Surviving Jack,” “Friends,” “Frasier,” “Curb Your Enthusiasm,” “Modern Family,” “New Girl,” “Ghosts,” “Fantasy Island” and “Suits.” She most recently stars as Nora in Disney+’s “Goosebumps” and on “Leverage: Redemption.”

Harris has appeared in many theatrical films, including “The Hangover,” “Unfrosted: The Pop-Tart Story,” “Old Dads,” and the original three “Diary of a Wimpy Kid” movies. She has also appeared in several of Christopher Guest’s largely improvised ensemble comedies “Best in Show,” “A Mighty Wind” and “For Your Consideration.”
