Loren Judah (l) and Jason Cook
    LOS ANGELES & SEATTLE --

Creative production company We Are Royale (WAR) is boosting its leadership with the addition of Jason Cook as executive creative director, who will work alongside newly promoted ECD Loren Judah. The appointments make room for WAR co-founder Brien Holman to assume the role of chief creative officer, with fellow co-founder Jen Lucero taking rank as CEO.

“Jason and Loren each bring unique and complementary skillsets into the fold as we gear up for an exciting new era at We Are Royale,” stated Holman. “When you combine Loren’s mastery of the interactive space, and Jason’s dexterity in traditional live-action, CG, and design, the creative leadership we have in place has never been stronger.”

Lucero added, “Solidifying our creative leadership allows Brien and I to steer WAR into the future as we look to build on our successes in the advertising, entertainment, and gaming space going on 15 years.”

No stranger to the WAR family, Cook has freelanced with the company over the years. He now joins the staff with an accomplished entertainment and advertising career. Prior to launching his own studio, Nylon, he gained ground as a designer/animator at creative shops in Los Angeles, including BL:ND,  Imaginary Forces, and Logan. He next held a tenure as associate creative director at Superfad, where he amassed an impressive body of campaign work for Coca-Cola, Pella Windows, and Visa, while directing spots for Fiat, THQ, and League of Legends. Cook went on to enjoy a lengthy run of freelance work as a creative director/director for Arsenal FX, Stardust, Troika, We Are Royale, and many more. In addition to his commercial representation as a director at Mutt Film, and later Dictionary Films, Cook most recently served as creative director at Flavor Design, where he led projects for Target, Ford, Honda, Chevy, Maytag, Walmart, Kellogg’s, and many more.

Judah is entering his 10th year with WAR. From title designs to AR/VR applications, he has spearheaded campaigns and experiences at WAR for such clients as Facebook (Meta), Riot Games, Nike, Coca-Cola, and USAF, to name a few.

Saylor hires Harris Sherman as head of production and Brian Freia as creative director, campaigns

    Wednesday, February 11, 2026
Harris Sherman (l) and Brian Freia

Saylor, the Los Angeles–based creative agency known for crafting entertainment-led advertising, has made two key new hires: Harris Sherman as head of production, and Brian Freia as creative director, campaigns.

“As attention gets harder to earn, brands must think and act differently to break through. They have to operate like creators,” said Will Trowbridge, founder and CEO, Saylor. “Harris and Brian bring exactly the mix of bold ideas, production rigor, and entertainment knowledge needed to help our clients not just show up, but truly make waves.”

Sherman joins as head of production to command Saylor’s growing studio operations. He will lead the wider production division while expanding the creator team’s capabilities--creating a production engine built to deliver studio-quality content at the speed of social. He brings extensive production leadership experience--including senior roles at React Media and All Def Media, and most recently as VP of production & operations at Wildcatter--and has a proven track record of scaling teams and operations, driving audience growth, and building infrastructure for high-quality, multi-platform content.

“At Saylor, we’re helping brands create the content people seek out, rather than the ads they scroll past,” said Sherman. “That requires a different kind of production muscle. I look forward to building an environment where we can execute ambitious ideas with the polish of a studio and the pace of a creator.”

As creative director, campaigns, Freia leads Saylor’s teams to develop innovative, culture-driven work and oversees projects from concept through execution to ensure campaigns are ambitious, strategically sound, and designed to perform across platforms. He brings... Read More
