Coinbase, Director Oscar Hudson, Isle of Any Find “Your Way Out” Of A Rigged Game

Coinbase’s “Your Way Out” invites America to take a leap, challenging viewers to recognize that many of us are still financial NPCs–“non-playable characters” in gaming culture–operating inside a system that works against us and one we’ve rarely questioned, let alone considered leaving. It asks people to wake up to that reality and take a step toward a new, decentralized system, built for individuals rather than institutions.

In this spot directed by Oscar Hudson via production house MJZ for agency Isle of Any, we meet a man looking to make his escape from the game. We witness his mad dash to freedom, pursued by a gaming arrow targeting him. This film is live action, using very minimal VFX (the arrow chasing him, extending sets visually and comping miniatures into bigger sets). Everything was done in camera, all the characters are shot in camera, using costume and choreography to make them feel like NPCs, including our lead character transitioning from game movement to organic human movement to bring the story to life.

“Your Way Out of Their System” is the new tagline and larger campaign platform that will continue in the following months, highlighting how today’s financial system remains slow, expensive, and controlled by gatekeepers. Coinbase offers an alternative with a new suite of financial products being launched throughout the year.

Director Peter Thwaites and Goodby Silverstein & Partners Bring Robovac Into The Family For Xfinity

    Monday, April 20, 2026

Produced by The Corner Shop and directed by Peter Thwaites for Goodby Silverstein & Partners, Xfinity’s latest campaign includes this spot which introduces an unexpected member of the family, a Robovac. The :60 unfolds from the robotic vacuum cleaner’s point of view, gliding across hardwood floors and tracing the edges of a busy home. All around the household, family members are locked into their own screens--mom on a work call, daughter deep in reality TV, the boys absorbed in gaming. Even the dog keeps its distance, tucked under the table.

When dad calls out “movie night,” no one responds. That changes when he opens the Xfinity app and hits “Pause Kids’ Devices.” Instantly, the kids come running.

The family gathers on the couch, snacks in hand. The Robovac is right there with them. Spooked by a scary moment, the Robovac ducks under the couch before the youngest coaxes it back out with a kernel of popcorn.

The voiceover lands the idea: “Wi Fi so smart, it brings the whole family together. Xfinity, Imagine That.”
