St Luke’s, Directing Duo Si&Ad Go KP Nuts With Woodland Animal Rappers

London agency St Luke’s has created a maverick gang of three rapping woodland creatures to lift the nation’s mood for KP Nuts’ first TV campaign in more than three years. The nutty trio reminds us of the feel-good factor that a handful of delicious KP Nuts can bring, unleashing a sense of joy every time a bag of KP Nuts’ new premium Signature range is opened.

This new film–directed by Si&Ad via Academy Films–opens on a shot of a couple, Billy and Tash, slumped on the sofa, idly watching a nature documentary or scrolling on the phone. But when Billy grabs a handful of KP Signature nuts, the evening takes on a whole different tone as the Woodland Clan jumps into action and livens up the moment.

Suddenly, the lights dim, and we meet Squirrel-D (A.K.A P-Nut), Striiipes the badger, and a hedgehog named Smiler the Hibernator, who pop up unexpectedly in front of Billy and Tash on the table. The trio instantly up the tempo of the evening with an energetic rap that brings to life the joy of KP Nuts, while highlighting all the benefits of eating and enjoying Signature’s delicious premium cashew snacks.

Billy and Tash are irresistibly drawn into the rhythm as the Woodland Clan starts their rap on the coffee table in front of them and are captivated as it builds to a crescendo. Squirrel-D, Striiipes and Smiler the Hibernator’s performance provides a moment of delight to the couple as they enjoy the trio’s rap, which begins with a line about the couple’s hard day and ends with a celebration of the way KP’s new Signature range has “leveled up” their snack game.

St Luke’s spot ends with the couple visibly lifted and enjoying the evening so much more as they reflect, slightly puzzled, on the unexpected moment of delight they have just experienced. We finish on a pack shot of the newly-launched KP Nuts signature range, accompanied by the endline “New KP Signature–A Handful of Happiness.”

Richard Denney, joint chief creative officer at St Luke’s, said, “We’ve all experienced those dull nights in front of the TV but now, thanks to KP Nuts’ new Signature brand, we can liven up the everyday with a snack that brings out the joy in all of us, whether we’re a badger, a squirrel, a hedgehog or a human.”

Top Spot of the Week: Director Daniel Warwick’s Short Film “Ritornerai” Is Like A Painting That’s Subject To Interpretation

    Thursday, August 13, 2026

Daniel Warwick directed and teamed with producer Jakob Rühle to conceive of and develop this short film titled Ritornerai (Italian for “you will return”).

“Three days before an actual commercial shoot, my producer [Rühle] and I realized that we had a camera, a location, an actor, a pair of Lederhosen and a few beers to brainstorm,” Warwick said. “Suddenly my producer yelled ‘Objectophelia’ and the idea was born.”

Known for his big and bonkers, epic visual storytelling, Warwick’s Ritornerai--albeit more meditative than some of his other work--does not disappoint. It is a wholly original and offbeat story with an exquisite scenic backdrop that leaves plenty of room for interpretation.

Filmed in the Italian Dolomites, Ritornerai features a man in Lederhosen who appears from behind a bush and enters a Grand Hotel where he begins to touch the beautiful haptics and textures of the whole place. Seemingly overtaken by objectophelia, we observe him enjoying the sensory experience deeply and emotionally. He enters the big ballroom and sits by the piano where he utters the film’s only line, “Ritornerai.” He approaches a giant painting of a landscape and eventually we discover that he is actually in the painting.

“Ritornerai has inspired many different interpretations,” said Warwick. “People let their minds wander a bit. Love it or hate it, I really like that it doesn’t want anything from you. For that reason, maybe it’s a little more artful because people can take away whatever they want.”

The production company on Ritornerai was Zauberberg Productions. Director Warwick is handled by production house O Positive for commercial representation in North... Read More
