Jon Rosenberg moves production side to Carbon New York
    NEW YORK -- (SPW) --

Jon Rosenberg has joined creative production studio Carbon as Executive Producer in New York. Having spent the past 25 years working at some of the biggest ad agencies on both sides of the US (BBDO, FCB, McCann, Ogilvy, and Publicis to name a few), Jon has worked on many of the industry’s best award-winning creative ideas from the past two decades. Along the way, he built a reputation for being calm, confident, pragmatic with a ‘never say die’ attitude to finding solutions, and friendly to a fault with a deep dedication to the creative outcome of projects.

At Carbon, Jon will use his extensive understanding of the agency and brand experience to focus on client relationships and new business strategy. ‘We have known Jon for many years as our agency and client contact,’ explains Phil Linturn, Managing Director at Carbon. ‘Always a true partner in making great work, I can’t wait for our clients to meet him. From design, direction, and live action production to motion graphics, color, CGI, and photoreal visual effects, our offerings have expanded a lot in recent years. Jon’s valuable agency and brand insights will truly elevate our ability to cater to those looking for these innovative all-in creative solutions.’

‘I have watched beautiful work come out of Carbon these past years,’ continues Jon. ‘They are building a wonderful community of talent and it’s a very exciting time to join. I want to be a part of the next stage of growth, and connect the Carbon team with agencies and brands I know will hugely benefit from partnership with them. I love bringing people together, and look forward to working with many of the same people I have worked with in the past – but now from the other side. I’ve been in their shoes (their budgets, their schedules, their teams, and ideas!). I know what’s needed to make the process as smooth as it can be and get the best possible creative product at the other end. I mean, who doesn’t want that?’

Standout moments from Jon’s career include a seven-year tenure as SVP, Integrated Executive Producer at Publicis, as well as more recent roles working direct to brand for the likes of Citibank, Citizen Watches, Comcast, and Frito-Lay, where he helmed their star-studded Super Bowl commercial ‘‘Twas the Night Before Super Bowl.’ A natural connector of people, Jon also founded NYC’s regular AdDrinks social night at the Ear Inn.

‘I love to see something well executed,’ ends Jon. ‘I’ve always said advertising can be some of the best things on TV. Funny stories, heartwarming stories… even sad stories. I can’t wait to make that happen at Carbon for partners old and new.’

ONLYCH1LD Turns Cybersecurity Into AI Comedy Spectacle For Proofpoint

    Tuesday, April 14, 2026
Still image from Proofpoint featuring an AI CEO

ONLYCH1LD brings cybersecurity to life in its latest campaign for Proofpoint, turning an office under attack into a chaotic, comedic AI-powered spectacle. The fully AI-driven spot blends absurd humor with bold visual storytelling, showcasing how Proofpoint protects people, data and brands against cyberattacks.  “ONLYCH1LD has been a trusted creative partner for us, and they quickly understood the need to deliver something memorable that balanced humor with clear messaging,” shares Proofpoint CMO, Joyce Kim. “Their team proposed a fast, intentionally over the top AI approach that allowed us to move quickly while still creating a bold piece that stands out.”  The campaign came together in just a few weeks following a marketing pivot by Proofpoint’s new CMO, who turned to ONLYCH1LD to reimagine messaging and tone. The :30 broadcast spot, currently airing on ESPN, features an AI CEO casually walking through a chaotic office while Proofpoint’s AI agents prevent data theft, extinguish fires and stop robbers in their tracks. ONLYCH1LD also produced a blooper reel and short clips for social media, giving audiences a look behind the scenes and amplifying the campaign's absurd, cinematic humor.  “It’s funny, because I wasn’t really ‘on set,’ given a computer made this commercial. But had I been, I would’ve been thrilled with the commitment!” concludes... Read More
