    David Diaz is ALIBI Music's newly appointed Director of Marketing.

    Diaz brings ALIBI a successful, 25-year background in marketing, branding and creative services.

    LOS ANGELES -- (SPW) --

    ALIBI Music has added muscle to its already formidable team by tapping David Diaz as Director of Marketing. In this newly created role, Diaz will bring a successful, 25-year track record and energetic vision to the growing production music company, where he’ll manage the day-to-day operations for ALIBI’s marketing initiatives, brand image and narrative.

    “After a decade of largely organic growth that culminated in the launch of our powerful new website, ALIBI is ready to build on this momentum in new ways,” said Jonathan Parks, ALIBI’s founder and executive producer. “David has just the right combination of expertise and drive to really amp things up for us, and we look forward to working with him on ALIBI 2.0.”

    “What initially attracted me to this role was the idea of promoting a product that doesn’t spoil, needs little-to-no storage space and can be infinitely useful to content creators,” said Diaz. “But I was also inspired by ALIBI’s leadership and its quest for constant improvement. I hope to offer new insights into an already highly defined marketing strategy, and look forward to increasing my value as ALIBI transitions into its next chapter of growth and scale.”

    A strategist to the core, David Diaz has spent his career dedicated to the ever-evolving world of advertising, marketing and creativity. While he was most recently responsible for the full launch of a beauty brand startup, he has stewarded creative departments for national advertising agencies, managed large internal marketing departments and directed commercials and feature-length documentaries.

    Diaz, who graduated from Northern Arizona University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Advertising, got his start as a Jr. Copywriter with a small agency in Phoenix. He then built, nurtured and sold the largest Hispanic advertising agency of its kind. Diaz’s diverse career path has steered him to direct the international marketing efforts for a global surf brand, a Swiss air filtration company and an automotive manufacturer.

    “The Slightest Touch” Wins Best Documentary at Dublin International Film Festival Following HBO Acquisition

    The Slightest Touch, directed by Rachel Fleit and edited by Sloane Klevin, ACE, has won Best Documentary at the Dublin International Film Festival, days after HBO Documentary Films acquired the television and streaming rights ahead of its world premiere.

    The feature documentary, which chronicles the friendship between Colin Farrell and Epidermolysis Bullosa survivor Emma Fogarty, was honored by the Dublin jury with the following statement (in part):

    “This next award is for an incredible film… One through which we as an audience came to know both protagonists in ways which would not have been possible, were it not for the unobtrusive talent of the director, who seamlessly documents a story as old as time itself… Rachel Fleit has captured the magic moments of this extraordinary friendship… What follows is an honest and at times searing portrayal of pain in all its forms and the power of humanity and humor to make lives better for all… The jury agreed that The Slightest Touch and director Rachel Fleit is the worthy winner of the documentary category of this year's Film Festival.”
