ALIBI Music's New Audio Search Engine & Website for Production Music & SFX Licensing

ALIBIMusic.com features 200,000+ professionally composed tracks, an intuitive UX design, blog & more.

    LOS ANGELES -- (SPW) --

ALIBI Music has launched a powerful new audio search engine and website for licensing of its extensive production music and sound effects library. Developed with the company’s Music for Storytellers™ tagline in mind, www.ALIBIMusic.com takes an intuitive, next-level approach to serving a wider range of storytellers including studios, trailer houses, networks, promo agencies, advertisers, video game developers, content creators and streamers.

A best-in-class user experience (UX) now gives ALIBI's clients an incredibly fast and organized way to search, browse and license more than 200,000 unique audio files in every genre, style and mood produced exclusively for the ALIBI library by a global array of professional composers and artists. This includes over 11,000 songs, along with easily navigable and clearly labeled alt mixes, stems and cutdowns; 1,000 loops designed to work seamlessly in game engines for video game developers; and a dynamic selection of some 6,000 sound effects.

With a Search Tools page offering numerous ways to hone in on the perfect track, the new site features dedicated pages for Trailers, Promos, Programming, Advertising, Video Games and Live Streams. ALIBI has also perfected the production music industry’s first negative search functionality, an option that lets clients quickly narrow search results by flagging what they don’t want. The search interface includes the ability to create and share playlists and channels, as well as store tracks.

The new ALIBI website also introduces a blog featuring industry views, helpful production audio tips and company announcements, among other articles.

“With great attention to detail, creativity and track structure, we’ve developed a world-class production music library that has pretty much everything a client could ask for,” said ALIBI’s founder and executive producer, Jonathan Parks. “This launch puts the same level of care into the technology supporting our content and users, and we’re thrilled to share it with the world.”

ALIBI enlisted Magnetic Creative to design its new website and completely overhaul the search application, rebuilding it from scratch using tools that are at the forefront of modern web development.

“For a licensed music library of this size, there’s a ton of data to consider and manage,” explained Matt Simpson, Partner, Global Digital Director at Magnetic. “Our core focus during development has been to enhance search features, site performance, and overall user experience. We’re extremely proud to see early testing show more than 1000X faster search response within the site. Built from the ground up, the audio player is packed with features, completely responsive, and crazy fast. This means we’re able to help trailer houses, networks, and agencies find the music they’re looking for faster than ever. We couldn’t have asked for better synergy between our designers, developers and engineers and the ALIBI team during the build.”

Founded in 2011, ALIBI Music is a leading provider of music and sound effects for license in advertising, trailers, promos, programming, video games and all other forms of multimedia content. The company’s expertly curated catalogs are produced and structured especially for storytelling, with theatrical quality, searchable tracks, alternate mixes and stems delivering clients robust versatility.
