Opens Saturday, April 25, 2015 with a Hosted Reception

    LOS ANGELES -- (SPW) --

The Art Directors Guild (IATSE Local 800) Gallery 800 announces "Kinship & Family,” its third art exhibition of 2015, opening Saturday, April 25, 2015 with a hosted reception from 5 pm to 8 pm. Located in the heart of the famed NoHo Arts District, Gallery 800 showcases guild members’ personal art in a series of shows throughout the year. The public will have the opportunity to meet the artists and preview their unique artwork. The “Kinship & Family” reception will feature more than 50 original art pieces, a hosted bar, live music featuring the “Do Drop In” jazz trio and refreshments.

In the spirit of kinship and family, Gallery 800 will showcase not only artwork inspired and created by the ADG members, but also art pieces created by their talented family members as well. All art mediums are encouraged in this special exhibition, which will run through May 16, 2015.

The talented ADG artists are leading Art Department professionals, who, through a combination of observation, passion and imagination, bring the writer's words and the director's vision to life in television and film. When not working as integral creative members of the entertainment community, they contribute to the fine art scene with their personal artwork. Since Gallery 800 opened its doors in March 2009, more than 600 ADG members have shown their artwork in the ongoing exhibitions.

Representing Gallery 800 are Curator Denis Olsen and Manager Debbie Patton. Gallery 800’s mission is to promote the works of talented entertainment industry professionals, in an intimate venue, on a personal level. Gallery 800 is located at 5108 Lankershim Blvd. at the Historic Lankershim Arts Center in the heart of NoHo.

    Gallery 800 Hours:
    Thursday – Saturday 2 – 8 pm
    Sunday 2 – 6 pm

Future Exhibits Include (subject to change):
Three Artists You Should Know (June 6 – July 11)
    Antarctica (July 25 – August 29)

Highly Accomplished Production Executive Madeline Saloga Lands Senior Producer Role with Rapidly Evolving Dictionary Films

    Monday, November 17, 2025
Dictionary Films Senior Producer Madeline Saloga.

Dictionary Films, the integrated production arm of Cutters Studios, is very proud to announce that highly accomplished production executive Madeline Saloga has joined the rapidly evolving company as Senior Producer. The announcement was made by Dictionary’s Managing Director Brian Smego. For Dictionary, Smego’s arrival in 2023 was heralded as the start of a new era. Today, the transformations he has accomplished – all aimed at meeting client needs in fresh, forward-thinking ways – are paying off big-time. Changes include transitioning from a traditional roster of directors and building a collective of artists that cover every aspect of production. By Smego’s account, he and his team have also brought in cutting-edge AI artists, content creators, and experiential directors, and built new workflows aimed at creating top-quality work intelligently, efficiently, and cost-effectively. Across the operation, this groundbreaking work absolutely paved the way for the addition of Saloga. “Madeline brings a wide range of experience from her time on the West Coast,” Smego began. “From our very first conversation, her energy and passion for creating outstanding work – and her sharp eye and dedication to discovering fresh, diverse talent – really stood out. Madeline’s unique skill set and fresh perspective are sure to accelerate our evolution.” Having co-founded LA-based Process Artists Management in 2024, Saloga also served its industry-leading clientele as Artists Manager. Through those experiences helping to build a company from the ground up, and representing directors, editors, and VFX studios while developing direct-to-brand strategies, her abilities to balance artistry, collaboration, and innovation soared. Previously the Partner Manager... Read More
