Whitehouse Post has enhanced its roster with the addition of award-winning editor Alex Hagon. Hagon joins the Whitehouse New York office after spending the past decade honing his craft at top post houses in London, New York, and Los Angeles.

“I've known and respected Whitehouse’s work for many years, but what I found most attractive is how open to ideas they are, and how they are looking to innovate in our rapidly changing industry,” says Hagon. “I'm looking forward to working across all of the Whitehouse offices and continuing to work with some of the industry’s best directors, agencies, and brands.  I'm also keen to collaborate with The Whitehouse's sister companies in visual effects, sound, and design to bring the work to the highest level.”

Hagon’s edits for top brands like Google, Samsung, Nike, Amex, and Adidas are brimming with beautiful visuals and uplifting storytelling that creates a strong feeling and sense of poetry.  Comfortable in the office as well as on set, Hagon has collaborated with high profile directors including Drake Doremus, Nicolas Winding Refn, Matthias Hoene, Luc Besson, Jake Scott, and David O’Russell for agencies like RSA, Droga5, BBDO, and McCann.  A favorite project for Blackberry allowed Hagon the opportunity to edit fascinating interviews with Alicia Keys, Neil Gaiman, and Robert Rodriguez.  No stranger to celebrity, Hagon has also cut pieces featuring Benedict Cumberbatch, Chris Hemsworth, Selena Gomez, and Lionel Messi, and his work has been honored at many prestigious award shows including The Cannes Lions, D&AD, APA, BTAA, The Kinsale Sharks, and the LA Comedy Festival.

Whitehouse Post Executive Producer Caitlin Grady sees Hagon as a perfect fit for Whitehouse New York.  “Alex is a brilliant and innovative editor who takes a thoughtful approach to our evolving industry. I look forward to making new friends with his long-time clients and introducing him to ours as we continue to develop clever solutions to help our clients deliver content at the highest standards.”  Whitehouse Post Partner/ Editor Rick Lawley expands “I’ve followed Alex’s career for some time. He’s a formidable talent and a lovely fella, we are lucky to have him.”
