Nashville-based idea-driven agency BUNTIN has been selected as composite decking giant Trex’s Media Agency of Record, after having spent the last decade serving as the brand’s Lead Creative & Strategic AOR. The expansion of the agency’s scope of work for Trex includes media planning and buying with support on traditional & digital channels and strategic sponsorships in the United States & Canada.
“We’re thrilled and honored to expand our strategic relationship with Trex. They’ve been incredible partners for 10+ years and, together, we’ve been able to achieve significant results across their business and also become good friends. Proof that genuine collaboration, great work, and great business outcomes can – and do – go together,” notes BUNTIN CEO Jeffrey Buntin, Jr.
BUNTIN was brought on as Trex’s creative & strategic AOR in 2014, breaking the composite decking innovators away from the noise of market competition to shift the brand from first to next. The idea of “Engineering What’s Next in Outdoor Living®” spurred five years of dramatic growth for the brand, during which residential revenue increased to $1.1 billion and shareholders were rewarded commensurately.
“We are fortunate to have such strong business support from the BUNTIN team,” says Leslie Adkins, VP of Marketing for Trex. “Their focus on driving our business won them our creative account a decade ago and that same focus has now earned them our media business. Whether times are good or challenging, BUNTIN is committed to helping us plan, execute, and push the bounds for what’s next for Trex.”
The expanded scope of work will extend the long-term partnership to include BUNTIN’s talented media team, with the agency’s in-house media practice having been responsible for the planning of over $1.4 billion in media over the past 10 years.
