The eight-spot project tells the stories of four different children who, with the help of McLane Children’s, have triumphed over serious injuries or illnesses.
charlieuniformtango and the Launch Agency announce a new campaign titled “Never Fear” for Baylor Scott & White McLane Children’s Hospital. The eight-spot project – four :30s and four :60s – tells the stories of four different children who, with the help of McLane Children’s, have triumphed over serious injuries or illnesses.
April Steinbach, Launch Agency Principal/Group Creative Director said, “We call the campaign “Never Fear” because we wanted to focus on the children’s recoveries – and the fact that they’re now all back to being happy, healthy kids again. The campaign is designed to reassure people in central Texas communities like Waco, Temple, and Killeen that, with McLane Children’s by their side, they’ll have access to the expert specialists and leading-edge treatments needed to provide the right care right where they live.”
April continues, “charlieuniformtango senior editors John McStravick and Adam Henderson did a wonderful job of weaving these stories together. And the Tango team’s exceptional work on graphics and sound really helped make these spots special. The campaign will run on local TV and in movie theaters. Cinema is new for McLane Children’s. These spots will be shown in theaters before this summer’s blockbuster kids’ movies, so we wanted a cinematic feel for the campaign – and we got it. Outdoor, print, and digital media are also scheduled. We’re very excited to get these important stories out to families living in the heart of Texas.”
charlieuniformtango senior editor John McStravick says, “It was an amazing experience getting to help tell these moving stories. Working with such cinematic footage made it feel like we were creating a series of short films. As a parent, I know how special these stories are: Powerful, heartbreaking, but most importantly, uplifting. We collaborated with April and Brian from Launch to comb through hours of interviews to help us craft these spots, and that really helped elevate this project.”
The campaign was shot on location in Hutto, Belton, Caldwell, Moody and Somerville, Texas. It will run May 29-July 9th.
