    LOS ANGELES -- (SPW) --

Supervising Senior Colorist Todd Bochner has joined Chainsaw, Hollywood, a SIM Group Company. Bochner arrives with more than 20 years of experience and credits on more than 50 television series, as well as numerous features, commercials and music videos. His first project at Chainsaw will be the HBO series The Leftovers.

“The arrival of Todd Bochner is further indication of our commitment to being creative leaders in scripted television,” said Chainsaw co-founder Bill DeRonde. “Todd has been producing great work for many years and shares our commitment to customer service. He’s another wonderful addition to our team.”

Bochner arrives at Chainsaw from Modern VideoFilm, where he worked for more than 15 years. His recent credits include Madame Secretary for CBS, Sleepy Hollow for Fox, Legends for TNT, Jane the Virgin for CW, and Tyrant for FX. He also graded the debut season of The Leftovers. He got his start in post at Pacific Ocean Post and later worked at Varitel Video and EDS Digital Studios. At Chainsaw, he will operate a Da Vinci Resolve system in a newly-equipped grading suite.

An avid photographer, Bochner brings an artistic eye to color grading along with a passionate interest in storytelling. “Coloring is a very creative activity,” he said. “I enjoy working with directors and DPs to create aesthetically pleasing images. The opportunity to work with new footage every day is very rewarding.”

Bochner joins a scripted television department at Chainsaw that is growing rapidly. Other recent additions include colorists Joe Finley and Kim Schneider, and editors Jim Eberle and Chad Cole. Current scripted projects at the facility include Game of Thrones and Pretty Little Liars.  “Chainsaw is a wonderful facility and I’m very excited to get to work,” Bochner said. “I’m impressed with the talent and resources that they have assembled here and look forward to contributing to the company’s further growth and success.”
