The DGA today announced the presenters for the 71st Annual DGA Awards.  The ceremony will take place on Saturday, February 2, 2019 at the Hollywood & Highland Center’s Ray Dolby Ballroom in Hollywood, and will be hosted by Aisha Tyler.

The Nominees for Outstanding Directorial Achievement in Feature Film are:

All five feature film nominees are scheduled to attend.

Lifetime Achievement Award in Television:

Also at this year’s DGA Awards celebration, live TV directing legend Don Mischer will be the recipient of the DGA Lifetime Achievement Award for Distinguished Achievement in Television Direction.

DGA Diversity Award

FX Networks will be the recipient of the Guild’s 2019 Diversity Award for the network’s commitment to, and leadership in, inclusive hiring in DGA-covered categories.

Special Service Awards:

  • Kathleen McGill will receive the DGA’s 2019 Frank Capra Achievement Award in recognition of career achievement in the industry and service to the Guild.
  • Mimi (Marian) Deaton will receive the DGA’s 2019 Franklin J. Schaffner Achievement Award in recognition of career achievement in the industry and service to the Guild.
